@@TraceysFancy I saw your blog post from last night on this piece and that definitely was a lot of blood sweat and tears! It was also super helpful to understand how you achieved this, including the problem (or as you put it, “a hot mess”) you ran into with the side and adding the stripes down the trim. I did a matching nightstand for my mom (in red, her FAVORITE color) to go with her armoire, but I’ve never been happy with the NS. Her matelasse is white and black toile and she LOVES harlequin. Thinking about doing some on the flat top and curvy drawers (it’s French provincial).

May I ask what black paint did you use and what sealer?
It is in the description. But I used Dixie Belle's Endless Shore (white) Black Sands (black) for this piece and it doesn't need a primer or sealer. That is the joy of Dixie Belle's Silk Paint!
