    I've been doing intermittent fasting daily since October last year. I eat only between 10am and 6pm. Lost 10 kg so far. Wonderful way of life.

    I love intermittent fasting. I feel so good when I fast. I recently did a 48 hour fast and i felt amazing. Obviously I didn’t start there I started with 16/8 and slowly got used to going longer.

    I love IF! Great for autophagy too! Been doing it just over 2 yrs. I IF about 5 days per week. Usually 16/8 or 20/4. Just depends what I have going on. If I know I’ll be eating out at a restaurant, I fast all day (just water with lemon & apple cider vinegar and some stevia drops), and I will be OMAD for that day.

    I started intermittent fasting at the same time I decided to cut on my sugar consumption. Breakfast is the meal where I eat the most sugar with breakfast pastries or bread ( which will be transformed in glucose) and jams. So I decided to do the 16-8 fasting ( I eat between noon and 8pm) and really this is amazing: I feel good, I lost the 4 kgs that I could not get rid of ( in about 10 weeks). I do intermittent fasting 6 days a week so on Sundays I can have my croissants!!!! This is now a way of life and I keep doing it. I eat a lot of veggies, still eat pasta and bread ( I can't live without it) but I avoid processed food, deep fried food and no soft drinks or juices. I have the occasional dessert and don't feel guilty about it, at least it is less sugar than before and I don't feel deprived!!!

    Great experience, Frederigue! I agree with the fasting concept in general. People were doing that for ages. I personally have just a free of food day (to let my body heal itself from inside, get rid of the toxins and prevent a future sicknesses) once per week. So ones per week (usually Sunday), I don't eat anything at all, just drink a filtered water. In the begging it's hard once your body is trying to get rid of the toxins, you can get headaches and so on, but in that case a green tea helps a lot and it gives you an energy you will be missing, because you are not eating. I have done that for years, so I don't have any discomfort anymore, my body knows when it's "the cleaning time". My longest fasting was for a three days, it wasn't hard at all actually as I was expecting, it give me a lot of new and fresh energy boost, which only a clean body has. I am not doing that with the purposes of losing weight at all. I am 48, my hight is 1,65m, my weight is 59, so I am "a normal" and okay with everything. I am doing that only to give my body a break from the food, so it can repair itself, that is all. In my opinion every human being should do it time by time, it's very healthy, it's have a lot of benefits and it has been approved by many doctors. Good luck, guys who is just starting! Be strong! 👍

    I practice IF everyday for over 2 years. 30lbs. gone & maintained. I have done 3 five day fasts and am about to do another one with Prolon. It’s easy! I do try to stay low carb but I’m not crazy about it. Mostly I am plant based. Thank you Frédérique!

I’m starting intermittent fasting today for 3 months ( I hope ) , also going to combine with lots of your planning and other tips .. no snacking , no carbs ., ( I will have some wine at weekends ,,, I’m Irish ☘️!! )
    I’m going to have a money jar and put in 20 euro for every lb lost . And treat myself every time I reach 100 euro

    Hi Frédérique, I was watching one of your other videos the other day and decided to commit to your 3 month challenge of no deep fried food, burgers or pizzas. It’s been surprising easy. On top of that I had independently started 16:8 a couple weeks ago. I’ll let you know in 3 months how it all goes. Pity we can’t share photos on here.

    Great video! The only thing I disagree with you about is the black coffee. Coffee has a lot of antioxidants in it and if you don’t put sugar and cream in it is actually not bad for you in moderation at all.

    I do intermittent fasting also. Eating meals within 6 hours. Stopped drinking wine 😩😭 as often. These topics are helpful. What you eat matters!

    Great video! Intermittent fasting works really well for me because I am not a morning person. I only have coffee with almond milk (sorry, I'm an addict) and then eat lunch around 11:00 or 12:00. I agree with you, Frederique, if I am hungry earlier I will just eat then. I eat dinner, usually around 7:00 ish, which is a huge salad loaded with vegs and beans. That fills me up to prevent myself from snacking. Also, brushing and flossing my teeth right after dinner helps.

    Darling Frederique - As an athlete, you don't need to worry about menopause. It's a gift -- no more periods! I have been doing intermittent fasting with my husband since March 1, just before Covid, 7 days a week. I am hoping it will help him lose weight. As a runner, weight has never been a problem for me, but I think I have lost a few pounds. Everyone's body is different. I have been a pescitarian since the age of 17 (let's just say more than 40 years...), and I have always tried to eat a healthy diet. IF has probably prevented us from gaining the "quarantine 15 (pounds)" from working at home with too much time for snacking! I do have a pint of water first thing in the morning, and then two cups of half-caf black coffee.

    It turns out before I had my children I was naturally eating in this way. Now I’m trying to reset my body because I feel it is my natural flow. Portion size is my other thing I’m working on. Paying attention, but not missing out because like the French I love to eat wonderful food. Lol

    i've been intermittent fasting (on accident) since 2007 when i stopped having breakfast. naturally my appetite doesn't start until after noon. every day of the week i i.f. 15:9-20:4 out of habit. i may have a few occasional days in a year that are 12:12. maybe this is why i've always been lean

    Thanks Frederique, I've been sticking to the fasting for about 10 days, but yesterday I had a few things (cake and burger) so today has been hard because I felt guilty. So I needed to hear this encouragement - thank you! I am sleeping better because I am not eating after 6pm or 7pm latest. This is great! I have more energy and my clothes fit better 😁

    Oui, eating a big pizza 🍕 after breaking a fast will not work! A five vegetable omelette is my go to after a fast and I buy the free range, organic eggs 🥚 while I’m fasting !

    In your 8-hour eating period daily, do you eat two or three small meals? Do you do those hours when you would normally be awake and functioning and perhaps sharing food with people? No water, even, during those 16 fasting hours? Isn't that bad for metabolism and hydration? Your blouse is very pretty: the quasi-eyelets look feminine and the ribbing looks rather sporty.

    Hello.. love most of your videos But.. Your right about some things about eating in 8/6/ or 4 h a day.Just, you should eat more proteins in this hours. As you said,you are doing that once/ twice a week, for me is that life- style. Just avoiding fast food, sweets and unhealthy food is enough.

    Hi Mlle Frédérique! Thank you for your informative videos about everything that interest women specially fashion and healthy life style. I tried the Ketogenic diet and I lost weight quickly but couldn’t continue. I love carbs and I cannot remove them from my diet. I ‘ve been doing Intermittent fasting for quite a while, it worked in the beginning then my weight stayed the same. I have a question for you, what is your opinion about sugar substitutes like Erithytrol? I can’t stand these sugars. Is it true that I have to cut all desserts because of their sugar content?

    Good topic for me at the moment, I have been reading a lot about intermittent fasting and watching Jason Fung’s video, I only need to lose 5 kilos but I find it very hard to lose this , I am 75kilos, would like to be 70kilo, I am 165.5cms tall. The older I get the harder it is to lose some weight.
