The status of a superpower held by the Soviet Union turned out to be unable to survive any longer and had to disband on December 26, 1991 as a geopolitical disaster.
Their leaders were corrupted by Western bankers, and billionaire oligarchs who stole their resources. The people's revolution in China didn't allow that to happen, now they're kicking our butts on every level, housing, medicine, economy, education, etc.
@@brianbelgard5988 there is no perfect analogy, I get that, but the USSR was a federation of counties (states) with a powerful central government, a nuclear power, an economic "superpower" ... there are no other federations that have those features, so if there is a comparison to make, the USSR seems the only candidate.
@@jacobtennyson9213 a president can't dissolve the federation. A state (or states) would have to initiate it. If Trump is looking to dissolve the country or plunge it into a civil war, he should have run as a governor for one of the ultra-red states.

Deep down inside, the Russian People didn't lioe how their nation is running. Their leaders did some reforms but not enough to end their misery.
