LeMond's BFF EXPOSES Doping in Cycling Today..

- Greg LeMond has always been an active cyclist in the fight against doping. One of the gregarious who helped him win the 1990 Tour de France, Eric Boyer, and who was also manager of dopers like Cristian Moreni at Cofidis, Benjamin Thomas' team that has won stage 5 in the 2024 Giro d'Italia, believes that Jonas Vingegaard, Tadej Pogacar, Remco Evenepoel or Primoz Roglic are doing things that the dopers of the past like Lance Armstrong or Bjarne Riis didn't even do.

Drugs have been a part of cycling for 100 years. Every decade or so, organizers and team directors declare: "Cycling is now clean - this time or sure". Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool us 100 times, and we clearly aren't paying attention.
"Friend of the channel" Bjarne Riis cracks me up every time.
The alopecia stricken Riis, no less.
“crossing the finish line whistling”😂🤣😅
Most sarcastic commentary of any cycling review anywhere in this quadrant!
C'mon. Everyone knows that we have much stronger tailwinds nowadays, as a result of climate change. 😉
😆😆
Hahahaaaa
Pogi I noticed doesn't look tired after an exceptionally hard stage ...like you say .... it just doesn't add up .... baffling ..... and he's not DANISH ?
"It's always the Slovenian" 😅😅😅😅😅
Oh cycling....😅😅😅
Did he say Disney Landis? Hahahahahaha
He did 😂
Chris Boardman explained it quite well. Endurance sports lower your testosterone. You literally drain yourself of the good natural stuff if you're doing these events day in day out. He realised he had to quit these tours or face the consequences.
It's not natural they can do them with no ill effects.
Do you really believe he was clean? It's almost as ridiculous as believing Lemond was clean.
@@pmcmpc I do. But I have no evidence either way. It's a mute point, my post was to highlight the biochemical fatigue such endurance sports have on your body as per the video. Boardman suffered those consequences, with or without PEDs is irrelevant.
@@ferventheat Yeah I remember seeing a documentary about his year 2000 (hour record). His bones were thinning out too.
For a split second, your profile picture reminded me of Indurain. 😆😆
@@pmcmpc but he was!
Personally I believe Boardman and Lemond both were clean. I remember Boardmans interviews and his articles written by him when he was cycling. He explained how tough he found it to race the TDF. By week three he was dead physically - which is normal in a three week race. You are being ground down throughout. Look at the footage of riders on the podium in 70/80s. They look like they've raced because they appear tired. Look at the demeanour of riders on the podium since 1980s. They look like they barely sweated. The parcours are the same. The bikes might be better......but no one seems to know why riders on the podium look as fresh as a daisy compared to the podiums 70/80s. This channel asks legitimate questions
4:12 - I never knew Dracula Gianetti used to be a pro cyclist! 🤯😆😆
And almost died because of doping
That pic was of his win in Amstel 1995, whenever he was with Boyer at Polti
U R funny 😂😂😂 apreciate the tone of your voice and The exacerbated sarcasm 😅😂😂😂
Just because they are better than the rest… I don’t think their other team members are any cleaner….
Grow up, everyone knows Poggy is doped, its by default.
He was born doped already
Instant blood bags when he was born.
Love your videos. Thank you.
Best cycling channel this decade.
Best channel on UA-cam. Riis, friend of the channel :)
The doping in the sport is now covered up by the TUE system. The teams pay off the UCI to get the right TUEs.
Focusyn Evenepoel
“Cycling Highlights” - The tinfoil hat society.
doped to the gills
Nope, doped to the eyebrows...
If I’ve learned anything watching this channel it is this. It is ALWAYS THE DANE!!!
Everything is high tech now and science, the old generation is jealous 😂
And ignorant about Bioenergetics. But then nobody seems to care about the real science anyway 🤷
Que le spectacle commence!
One thing's for sure, Eric Boyer is a total hot box !!! 🔥
"Tramadolita Quintana"🤣
Awesome commentary! I'll give cycling some credit for trying to stop it. I still love the riders and the race! Dont forget all the pro sports players are juiced up too.
I would choose Manager of Dopeds Exposes doping in cycling today❤❤ anyway is hard to find a virgin in the UCI😂😂😂 they look so dodgy by looking at the faces 😂😂
Greg LeMond is 62, I'm 60, he looks 15 years older than me...
He's been living with poisonous shrapnel in his body.
Yeah Greg’s a clown 😂
Greg has a few grand tour (TDF) wins and a world championship rainbow jersey, how many grand tours have you won? Looking good in your 60’s is exactly good for what?
@@frontierlandfrank5314 no he's not. Just isn't - remeber what your mother taught you.
@@Scrooks1 most people look good when they’re young. In means everything to look good when you’re old. If you’re in shape and taking care of yourself when you’re old, you’ll probably live a better life in old age. Who cares what you did when you’re young, if someone has to wipe your bum for you at 70.
Lemond is certainly one of the greatest, most talented athlete USA has had. Yet he gets despised by his own. You diss him? You know nothing. Just becoming a North American Pro in Europe in those days should get you all to shut up. Then he won against organised dopers.
Vo2max of 92 and dedication. He gets credits around the world but not amongst some ignorant americans. A pity.
Yes yes, LeMond won clean above biggest dopeds of his era.
@cyclinghighlights well Lemond admitted that he struggled to compete in 1990s. The effects of his hunting accident and the proliferation of EPO circa 1991/2 put paid to his competing. Personally I believe Lemond was clean. Look at the riders on the podiums 70/80s. Their demeanour is of men who raced, who sweated, toiled. Then look at the demeanour of riders podium since 1990s. They look barely out of breath or having broken sweat.
Vo2max of 92 is not special. Jonas Vingegaard had a Vo2max of 97 at age 21 the year before joining Visma.
Greg Lemond was on the US olympic cycling team that were massive blood dopers, the did not raise in the ranks until one year after EPO was in clinical trials in California, and his records were set in 1989 and 1990 while EPO was rather unknown and available in pharmacies..
Greg LeMond got dropped by sprinters in the mountains of the Giro because of anemia, and he got some magic "iron shots" and came out and dominated a time trial...
In Greg Lemond's mind he is the best cyclist ever, and all the doped cyclists after him - irrespective of whether he claims they use motor doping or EPO none have ever done a long time trial as fast as clean Greg bobbing forth and back on his old bike.
There is no freaking way that Ulrich, Armstrong, Cancellara, Indurein..wouldn't have destroyed Lemond with the same level of doping
@@jenspetersen5865 VO2 max 92 is very rare, Jens. Vinegard has 97? Really? Or is this revisionism to try to explain away performances?
@@seamusweber8298 if you google it then you’ll see that it’s on a Reddit forum. Just like lemonds 92. A Vo2 max over 90 makes you above suspicion you see. It makes it impossible to dope whatever the circumstances.
“Always a fkin DANE”
ahahahahahaha
First win for Cofidis this year, in the Giro... no wonder. Doping is a tragedy.
There was a time post LA that cyclists looked mortal. They might attack one day, but the next, they were human. Now days... it looks like everyone is superman everyday.
Today's bike are not better. The bikes from 2003 - 2013 are much better than today's bikes.
I’m guessing peptides. Not sure if WADA can detect them.
An article about spainish dope testing recently , they don't dope test from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning. As well as the midnight truce of no dopetesting during sleep hours so the riders can sleep properly 🙂 that leaves mon tues wed am and pm only
I cant tell Pog, Ving Pol/Pool apart, then all look like Ellen's exes.
Savage.
@@rh_BOSS someone called?👀
Lance Armstrong Tested posotive for EPO on Day 1 in the 1999 Tour de France
Yeah and in Suisse
He didn’t as there was no EPO Test in 1999 it was for Cortisone
IWas it a day one sample , sample tested a latter date?
Armstrong had 6 EPO positives in 1999 that Verbruggen buried.
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1exactly. It was TUE'd as a cream for saddle sores.
The bikes aren’t better they’re heavier than my 10 year old bike and don’t mention aero that’s a load of crap
tailwinds, up mountains
completely logical
Marginal gains😊 We're being sold a pup when they roll out these "explanations"
Lance Armstrong looks 70
doped to the gills. there's no way they aren't.
pro racing experimentation of drugs that make you look like supermen…..must be looked at by soldiers of war, troops in the field…..
I can't stop laughing at the Satirical commentary; it's on another level. Keep up the Good Work!
As much as I like cycling from the recreational point I know for a fact the sport is dope infested. When I see someone I can break into two flying up a hill doing twice or thrice my speed & his teeth are as brown as my stool, I know what's up.
Who cares it’s fun to watch. Especially in the 90’s when they were fearless cuz they didnt even know their epo limits. Ive said it before, but no one would watch if they were climbing and suffering at 10mph up a mtn.
there is nothing fun about watching a 80km solo ride to the finish, it's boring.
John : I disagree. I'd watch that sport because that would depict cyclists racing clean. Instead we expected to suspend our dis belief as we watch. No, thanks
It’s always a Dane! This has got to go on a T-Shirt
Always the Dane...I'd buy it :)
They should just legalize the drugs then there will be none of this speculation.
There Will be another
Who Will Take more and better ?
"It's always a Slovenian" 😅😅😅😅
He is riding barefooted next season
Jonas never doped
They're all doing it one way or another.
Wondering how much growth hormone and anabolics the team docs have him on to help speed up recovery.
Always ready to post BS
What an avatar. Amazing.
I am prepared to accept that the current crop of winners have not taken illicit substances and are not motor doped. However, having watched the Grand Tours since about 1986, and having therefore missed the Merkks era, I have been astonished at the apparent ease with which wins these days are accomplished and the margins of victory against many top riders and previous winners who are left in the dust. All this of course is with the exception of Armstrong. At least Roglic had the decency to look wiped out when he lost the Tour against Pogacar, and Froome the same when he came in first on mountain climbs...
roglic and froome were acting no doubt!!
corny clickbait title
Corny or jorny
If by expose you mean accuse than you are correct.. otherwise, where's his proof?
Ask him in his own twitter
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Obviously its the ketone IQ and tart cherry juice
All these speculations. Zero evidence.
Exactly what Lance Armstrong's fans were saying. Didn't end well for them. Just warning you.
@@Difdauf you Don't have to warn me.

ridiculous
Told that to Boyer’s twitter
@@henriksrensen3220salty Dane spotted. New to cycling?

So bizarre that Clean Greg Lemond that raced when EPO was legal and you rarely tested claims that because he had a whopping 93 VO Max against Jonas Vingegaards 97, he did not need to dope and could beat everyone and set records in time trails that no doped rider in 35 years have been able to beat.
One of the things that Armstrong claims makes a difference is the formulation of gels that can contain a lot more sugar without giving the riders diarrhea. Armstrong claims that the gels today give the athletes roughly twice the energy it did in the past.
Hope rides again in 2024
What is your quest? :D
stop it! jalen is good but he aint NO allen iverson
legalize dope and then create a ''natty" category
They’d still be dealing with fake natty’s
@@amueller585 and the legalized part would see really illegal substances
And next you will have youngsters with adequate resources use every substance they can get their hands on. Lack of physical talent and/or discipline, compensated by substances, that will have detrimental health consequences. By every mean possible, doping should be countered.
Can we talk about mechanical doping of Pogacar?
how it works, and where is that evidence?.....probably is high tech but could be so good unmask this kind of mofo cheaters!!
What ever happened to the Chicken?
He was doped
Actually they use motor in their bike no need epo only motor in the disc brake side rear and front.
Yep. It's been going on for decades & the UCI know all about it. Totally fake sport now.
but is not easy install that without suspects, how u can prove is so efficient, and how is that kind of technologie working in front of every one and still today no one see or notice?.........is true there are bikes with electrical assistanc power but in this kind of competition how?
Jesus is King.
Who cares
LeMond
Not sure why I am taking the time, I guess it amuses me? To the site that insulted me when I was giving it a compliment, defies a high level of intelligence. Of course they are doping. The dopers are always one step ahead of the dope police, who, if anyone had any idea how that whole crew worked could do nothing but agree. Lemond, gives hard physical science behind his claims, why he is not consulted more is baffling.
you miss so much my self proclaimed expert. Such as doping is level one, how one responds to doping represents the levels you fail to mention, which is huge, if you hope to break 14k subs, lol. UA-cam algo hardly buys dog food at the current level, am I correct?
