Ingredients: 2 sheets of puff pastry Nutella Egg wash Icing sugar 1) Preheat the oven to 180°C/ Gas Mark 4/ 160°C (fan) 2) Place a sheet of puff pastry onto a sheet of baking paper and spread Nutella over the top. 3) Lay the other puff pastry sheet on top and press it down gently. 4) With a sharp knife, carefully cut it into a Christmas tree shape. 5) With the leftovers, cut out some small shapes with some Christmas cookie cutters. 6) Remove the excess. 7) Cut short horizontal strips each side of the tree and twist them. 8) Place some of the small shapes on top as decoration. 9) Transfer everything to a baking tray and brush it with the egg wash. 10) Bake for 20 minutes. 11) Dust with icing sugar. 12) Enjoy!

So it's common for people to star decorating their houses and businesses for Christmas as soon as they take the flags and patriotic decorations off which normally happens anytime from November 28th to the first days of December. Now there are no superstitions about when they should be taken off, so that part varies depending on people's preference.
