Good luck on the 28th. I’ve had a front tooth denture flipper for a couple of years and I’ve never really got on with it fully but I’m not sure I’m 100% on implants - or can I afford one currently. I’ve found you videos & the comments really helpful 👍
Monday 21st I'm getting a flipper tooth to replace a side top tooth that they will pull out that day as well. It was a root canal that the root split with caused my cap to come off. Not fixable. Not thrilled but gotta do it. My concern is that the fit will not affect my back two caps when putting them in and taking them out.
@@richardburns5925 Yes, and it fits perfectly. They pulled the tooth and made molds of my upper and lower teeth with a clay like substance the same day. Two weeks later I came back and was fitted with the flipper. No regrets. I have to say the whole procedure was painless.
@@richardburns5925 The flipper was not covered by my insurance - over $700.00 US. They did a great job matching my tooth color. It pops in and out like a retainer (had braces at one time).
@@PippiLong1 oh that's great! I'm going to have exactly the same then. I need an upper side tooth extracting that can't be saved, failed root canal, it's near the front and will leave a really visible gap. I'm not looking forward to it, quite apprehensive and being putting it off to be fair, it's the first tooth I'm going to lose, I usually have them repaired somehow. I wore braces, so I've got straight teeth, really not looking forward to losing one! Thanks for your reply!

Have you had your flipper yet and how is it? I've got to have probably the same upper side tooth removed that's going to leave a visible gap.

@@richardburns5925 They tried to talk me into implants. I'm not that brave, plus the cost. You should do just fine then. 😁
