Quick overview of a 2018 Mustang Digital Cluster in a 2016

Sam, I have a question about the mileage odometer. Will it display a different mileage or is this someything you program to match my current mileage?

Did you have to take off the steering wheel for install?

You have to take the steering wheel off for installs on 2015-2017 cars. On 18+ it's a simple switch of the IP (instrument Panel). You have to take the wheel off because as he mentioned on the pre-18 cars the volume buttons are on the right and the menu navigation buttons are on the left and those get switched but not just switched you actually have to but new button sets. Also need the new set of buttons on the bottom right hand side. Then you also need a new SCCM (the wipers/blinker stalks) because this switch doesn't work with the 2015-17 SCCM. So all in all on a 15-17 car you pretty much have to take the dash and steering wheel apart. You can find some install videos online. It's not too hard honestly.

After looking at infotainment's install procedure, it's not bad, requires some cutting off a panel and disassembling the steering wheel a bit. Not difficult, just a lot of steps. But I'm looking for a 2016 and looking to just buy this and install it.
