- Those of you who have been with us for a while know that our dog Yuki and cat Bella have had surgery. Yuki the husky had his left adrenal gland removed. Bella the cat had thyroid cancer a year ago and the tumor was removed. But a week ago we felt a small lump in the cat's neck area. Of course we thought it was cancer again and were already resigned to the upcoming long treatment. also husky Yuki needed a routine checkup. So we went to the city to the veterinary clinic to examine our pets. all the rest you will see in the video.

We've already gotten the test results back. Belka's results are within normal limits. But Yuki's liver values are not so good. Now we have to consult a gastroenterologist.

With every dog we own, we become better fur parents. We learn by being more aware and mindful of changes in their behaviors, even if subtle. As for myself, I learned the hard way about liver disease in dogs, in that newly formed brown spots on the upper gums and inner cheeks are a sign that it is setting in, and it's not wise too wait too long to get them to a vet for treatment. 😢
I guess in the last year you updated the description for your channel. I often wondered what had happened to Saga and Sonya, as I never seen a video about their passing. I know that the two of you try hard to keep your videos lighthearted and positive. Whatever you learned from Saga's and Sonya's passing has helped you both to continue being the best parents to your fur babies. And now I know why Olive looks and behaves similarly as Saga.
Hello Eric and Helen ! Perhaps you remember, our Husky Cotton passed away bc of a tumor - and he looks like Yuki, so watching your Videos gives us the feeling kind of seeing him live again... I guess, in one Husky we love ALL Huskies, in one cat all cats...Please, you absolutely should offer a bank account number here, so we can donate money into it. I can't afford big sums but every dollar/euro/Rubel counts I think, okay. If all the channel members give an euro you can pay the vet. Vets are terrible expensive. I would feel honored to give you and your cute pets something back because you and these sweet paws gave us always a smile and fun not to mention the love you shared with us ❤. So simply give here the possibility to pay you back. I am sure, a lot of members and audience will engage in this! ❤

Dear Yuki, I've really become a fan of yours and never miss a single video. Sometimes I feel like I know you personally. 😉
The news about the new illness hit me very hard. I also had to fight for my cat's life the whole last year. He had suffered life-threatening blood poisoning and massive liver damage as a result of the autoimmune disease FORL. His will to live, my love and the skill of my vet were thankfully able to save his life. We made it and you will too! ❤❤

It have been very sad to see Yuki complaining at the ultrasound since it is harmful if her liver is inflamed. I hope with all my strength that there is no metastasis.

I know how hard it is for you two to go through all the concern about Belka and Yuki health. I could feel it while watching you holding Yuki with her moaning as the vet did their examination. The hardest part is all the waiting to hear about what the tests provide in results and findings. I praying for their recovery and health. I also pray for your comfort during this time of concern.

Maybe I shouldn't write, but I'm completely honest. Our 21y - old cat Horus passed away in june. We fought until the end, he was a regular veterinary patient. Eventually, he was overcome by multi-organ failure, a sign of old age. The gears spent together pass too guickly and only memories remain. Life...Take care of yourselves everyone. Hope diesel last 🐺❤🍀
