A good choice to start the young talents section, Li-sa-x is an excellent guitarist.
Drummer Kanade Sato is also part of the band Koiai.

Great place to start, Lisa-X was my introduction to Japanese rock (found her from a post on a TinaS video), which lead me to Babymetal and Band-Maid. You've got an endless supply of young guitarist to choose from.

She was my entry too. Prodigy videos, then YourTub suggested Naon no Yaon 2017 Guitar Girls Collection. Never went back… 🤘🎸💃😎

She was not my entry, but I love the Tina-S videos. I had a journey to find Lisa, but I now follow everything she does. Fabulous guitarist.

Very impressive. I seen her but never listened to her, I'll be changing that. Thanks VG!

Great video. Li-sa-X is an amazing guitarist and she also writes a lot of the music and some of the lyrics for KOIAI, combining a lot of influences from pop to metal. KOIAI's "Deep Love" EP is one of my favourite recent releases from Japan. Their latest release is a cover of Hikaru Utada's Automatic that I can really recommend.

This isn’t entirely true. Hazuki has written a song on each release and Kotono writes most of the lyrics.

@@skallagrimr_kveldulfsson no need to apologize my friend. I just really love this band as well and checked the liner notes for each song to see if Hazuki had possibly written any of them. She’s one of my fave Japanese guitarists from way back in her Disqualia days.

LI-SA-X Band parted ways with Sony. She and HAZUKI formed KOIAI almost immediately.

I was quite fascinated with her when she was the tiny one shredding like a little speed demon! LOL. I'm happy to see her becoming a more well rounded guitarist - she is definitely a special one!🎸🌟

Lots of great young talent in Japan, keep these documentaries coming 😎
But for my money, LisaX and Hazuki are numbers one and two, because they can not only compose and play complex and/or emotional pieces, they can also cover/play the parts written by other greats, whether it’s Narumi or Saki, or anime music hits by pros, or international music like RacerX, Polyphia, etc
A description which fits HalCa (I predict will be next🤔), Yuki (young enough for your list tho?), and many others 🤘🎸💃

Many, many years ago I gave up trying to learn to play the guitar, citing the reason that my fingers were too small. When you see a tiny virtuoso playing a guitar bigger than she is it makes a mockery of that excuse! The quality of the two singles she cut with the Li-sa-X Band belie her young age at the time. The only mystery is what happened to incredible singer Rina...

well I think Li-sa-X now deserves to be called a young adult woman, it doesn't remove anything from her amazing talent, it just aknowledges that she's also a full grown-up adult, all the more reasons for other guitarists to start shaking in their boots because she's just amazing !! And very nice personality on top of that :)
