@@aspha60 I would never say no. Its hard to do predictions, in particular about the future. Lisa-X definitely is worthy. Now, KOIAI do play different music than Nemophila. More technical, less metal. But ... I hardly think that's a real problem.
Those ladies are scary good. And Hazuki makes me totally melt. But, I have not managed to get into Koiai music yet. Some of the songs I like, but far from everything. Sorry ladies!
@@OldheadBoomer I look at Nemophila a lot, its more my music. Saki has left Nemophila, so its only Hazuki now. But its stil one of my absolutely favorites. They have actually become slightly harder and the bassist has stepped forward. One of the main assets in Nemophila is the singer Mayo. And Nemophila also have a stellar drummer.
As a matter of taste: too much technical purpose, who can shred the most - music is only a side effect and doesn't seem to be important. People, please let yourself be influenced by european romantic and classic music. You will be better musicians by listening to this. It is much more than just playing harmonic minor and diminished like Malmsteen. Put music in the focus, not skills. It is boring, boring, boring
Brush up on your...classics. It's true that it's very technical, and at first glance may seem contradictory to a "musical" content as you say, but music does not only mean romanticism and European classicism. And besides, music is very present, you just have to know how to listen to it or know where it is in these very complicated pieces that these two girls play. But you don't know that. Besides, if you knew the kind of music before you were born (according to the photo) there was the experimental music of the 70s and there was also a genre that approached and could be the distant relative of what his daughters play, and this style was called progressive (progressive music); nothing to do with today's connotation of the word progressive so no one knows its meaning anymore (apart from the epigones of wokism and a few others, of course, who claim to know classical and romantic music, Europeans please) So, it's a genre that we know, we don't know, but don't weigh romanticism (and classicism) with this kind of Hardrock fusion. To conclude, just listen to Listz's studies or Goldberg's variations and you will see that you are completely wrong and that in classical music your knowledge is far from perfect. So if you criticize, at least criticize with full knowledge of the facts, even if, in the times we all live in today, freedom of expression whose meaning and interpretation (because of general ignorance) are a mystery to many people never ceases to blind some people. Watch this clip with his brilliant kids; they express the future they imagine where music is queen and discord is impossible, because their children know what peace is that allows them to live happily in this world of morons. It is a music more to your taste perhaps. What is more it is a virtual collaboration (via the Internet.) Between a young Japanese girl, a young American, a young Indonesian and a young Chinese girl. They are all between 17 and 20 years old currently. ua-cam.com/video/8kV3sXOYPuw/v-deo.html
Thanks, but you thought that I mean only classical music was the one and only music? Sorry! I did not mean that at all! I listen to any kind of non commercial or non classical music too, whether its experimental, atonal, free jazz and whatever genre, and still I claim this music above is more an acrobatic approach than a musical one! Experimental of the 70ies, of course please, MAGMA, king crimson, gentle giant, a.s.o. _ they all produced timeless and everlasting music as well as the classic writers. Acrobatic music will not survive as long. It might be that someone puts this music on his USB stick and listens to it in the car or at home *without the video* but it is not very likely... You can also mix notes randomly by a computer and play them backwards_ Why not/but will it tell you something? What I mean is that with the background of musical approach, it is even more possible to *_touch ones soul_* meaning to talk to someone nonverbal and make a statement that can be understood. But when I repeat musical phrases at high speed, they may be understood but make no sense. So you need acrobatic components. Of course its amazing to see such young musicians playing at high level skills, but would the composition have another quality if it was played on 3 string guitars by 1year old babies? This is my try to explain that my critics has an objective point 😛 Somewhere in between!
