    • @MiguelCedenoLozano
      @MiguelCedenoLozano Місяць тому

      @@GoldenCroc Yea, I meant rich. I just used the rich old Corvette driver stereotype since it's more relatable. They're definitely not taking their Z06 on a track much like I doubt these sport fisher owners aren't taking these vessels to hardcore coastal Atlantic fishing trips. They're just sports cars for the sea that owners buy to flex pretty much especially when you consider that they can get a luxurious comfortable yacht for the same money.

    It only uses about 600 dollars worth of fuel per hour. Not bad a bad financial decision. Count me in I need a new Tuna runner. Long Island to the canyons and back will only be about 4k nice

    19:10 This split in English is something I’ve studied quite a lot.
    Describing the root English language sound (before the height of the empire): it’s American pronunciations but with a Cornish/West Country accent.
    Relatable for the average person Barbossa (particularly more than others) from Pirates of the Caribbean isn’t that far off.
    It’s not likely what a pirate captain from the golden age of sail named Hector Barbossa would sound like, not completely implausible though.

    That thing is probably holding a solid 35 MPH, maybe even a little more. I know on my 35' center console with twin 250 outboards I'm lucky to get 1 MPG at that speed in those sea conditions. I have done it many times, 55 mile run from Ft Lauderdale to Bimini I burn 55 to 65 gallons depending on seas and wind. This thing must be burning 3 to 4 times that! And on water diesel is way more expensive than street gas!

    How is it that quiet? Thats amazing. My dad had a boat for a while, semi-displacement, i think it topped out at 20knots absolutely max and you could barely hear yourself think. Exhaust fumes got trapped on the rear deck too.

    19:34 “Ain’t it,” was once considered the way a more refined person would say “isn’t it,” which had even in the 18th century become bastardized into “innit.”
    Americans never got either of these so we still say “isn’t it”.
    Except in the south where the monarchy and European fashion remained, so right up to the civil war they were still importing “ain’t it.”
    “Innit”, is just anover way of saying, “isn’t it”, “ain’t it?”
