5 years later and still useful! Thank you!
i have a feeling this is gonna get a lot of views.
Do a follow up video showing how to do initial air/fuel table data logging / changing values etc etc etc!! It will get lots of views........ ;) This one is at 10K + now..... There is like nothing out there on doing this and you explain shit really well.
This is amazing for the new guys like me. I cant thank you enough for this video man. Appreciate you.
Omg, I was able to understand this more than anything else Ive seen or read about hondata, and Ive been researching for weeks. Your the man! Thank you, and keep up the awesome work!
This was the best explanation (for me) of all the videos I've watched so far. Thanks man. I am just filling my brain with all the info possible before I dive in.
Great video bro, 4 years later it helped me a lot and now im determined to get into tuning, please keep making this kind of videos to help new guys like me! 🔥
I know this was posted a while ago but this video was extremely helpful. Thank you for going in depth about the parameters and what they do. Big help!!
Thanks. Just bought a hondata with BBG components for future builds and my temporary D15b7 turbo build (Motor was on its way out, so plan on letting it have some fun first) This video is great for someone who is just trying to have some fun before they drop in a dedicated build and send it off to the actual tuner. Looking forward to more hondata videos!
Sick! Spreading the knowledge, that's what I love to see!
Great video. Really enjoyed the info. Adding in what you adjust and what you don’t adjust was a major plus.
Awesome ! thanks for posting this video i just got a hondata and this was perfect for me to help understand this hondadta tuning! can't wait for the next video about the hondata!
I don’t know why never seen this video before. Thanks Hunter great info video learned a lot. You never stop amazing me with your Tuning videos.
Yes thank you for this information, there are no videos that go this in depth about s300v3.
Very nice man. This will actually help me with my Neptune. A lot of similarities as far as features go.
Thanks man for all this valuable information, I'm about to enquire and s300 v3 and I'm looking forward to tune my car my self. Thanks again
Hey hunter, this video is great all the other videos are pretty awesome aswell but this one helps out a lot, keep up the videos
@huntertuned the reason the table reads backwards is due to a setting in the options drop down menu under settings it says something like increase from atmospheric or increase from full vaccum. Just switch that setting 👌
It's in settings under "units" labeled as "pressure unit base"
solid, solid, solid vid
in depth enough for a beginner
Finally.....thanks man this was awesome keep em coming
Thanks for all the priceless info man. Learned a lot and I’ll have to watch it several times to really take it all in. I dropped a like and subbed your channel. Keep up the great work dude 👍
Thanks for the upload help alot, been messing with hondata for a few weeks now and there was a few things i did not know.. this help.. super like👍
Thanks very much Hunter for the very in depth breakdown of Hondata. One of your Best vids because of the content and use! I have a Hondata K pro 3 and no where can I find concise tuning info. Everyone acts like it’s taboo or some big ancient Chinese secret and shit to give you info and pointers on navigating. Looks like with your sc300 Hondata uses the same layouts and platforms across the board for what they offer. Thanks again
lmfao @ big ancient chinese secret
im building a d16 for boost. not the most expensive (p2p0 rods and vitara pistons) but something fun to fuck about in. decided while im at it i might as well learn the basics of how to tune what im building. your video was very informational and clear. ive subscribed and hope to continue seeing great videos. thanks for the help
Bad Ass vid Hunter thanks for the good info I plan on getting a S300 soon and I always wanted to learn how to tune my own car...!!! Thanks Man...!!! This Vid helped me out with some things i didn't know
obviously im late to the video but,im surprised that there isn't more views it was extremely helpful
Awesome video hunter!! Dogpile chicken smile. Keep up the good work sir!
Mint👌👌..I really enjoyed this video you help me out alot can't wait to see what's next in the second part. Hunter in your next video touch a little more on how to set the wideband input in Honda..👊
Great video here, learning so much thanks for your time hunter 👍
Almost 2 yrs Old and still very relevant
Yes we definitely want more hondata videos!!!
Thanks for the video mate I learnt a lot and I’m impressed with how extensive the hondata is . To be able to setup and log exhaust temp sensors in each runner and then compensate fuel to each individual cylinder is dog pile chicken smile
Thanks for doing this video! Not sure why there are any thumbs down...there are almost no hondata tuning video's out there
Keep the videos coming man good work. Thanx
hondata should be paying u for this , great job made me familiar with some similar things on my kprov4
Great video bud! I just received my S300 V3, soldered it myself and did my base-map with the sole help of this video. I can't wait for summer of 2019 to put the car on the road!
How’s she running now brotha?
@@PookieBuilt I sold the car but it was running great!
Great info and walkthrough thanks hunter tuned
Thanks man, alot of good info for us beginners
Yeah mate good content. Go into depth and a demostration of you tuning it on a dyno for what reasons taking your time. So 1 video for each topic u think is seperate would be wicked
Great information Hunter. Thanks for this.
Best video I’ve watched to learn very good
Awesome video! Keep em coming!
Been waiting!!!! Yess!
Helped me out, and hell yeah your in wisconsin that is close may have to swing by for some tuning and injectors!

Beautifully done bro. I got it

Very good inf I downloaded this video because I almost ready with my engine and gonna use old u knowledge to help mine 😉💯👌💪🙏
Dude this is an awesome tutorial thanks!!
great job, very helpful. If you could make more videos that go more in depth on Hondata that would be great!
Great video thanks for all the tips
Hello hello hello. Fellow wisconsinite here enjoying your videos
Thank you so much for this video I'm learning a lot with this channel keep up 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍mint🤣😎
I like you your vids the best you go over everything which I like greatly. Now I'm gonna be building my honda civic 2001 and I'm going with everything you have seems to run awesome but not to crazy right off the start but damm man that car pulls hard even at 134mp. I see that car doing 150 160 which is fuckin badass for what it is. Thank you for everything your doing please keep up the info. But sometime I would like to speak with you about some things if I could when I'm ready. Thanks man
I love these videos please share more!!!
Collum 1 is at -3 because your settings are defaulted to increase from atmospheric. Go options, settings, units, and select increase from absolute. Depending if you set to psi, kpa, in hg it should change it to increase from collum 1. It makes no difference to the actual tune though
Man this is a huge help! Thanks so much! Seeing that all these features exist makes me glad I went for Hondata instead of some of the lower cost programs I was considering.
I was just thinking today about some kind of security for my car. I realized my S2K steering wheel is going for $750 these days!
Which one of the preloaded tunes would you suggest for a F23 Accord on 7psi boost? The closest thing I saw on the list was a supercharged H22. I would think that its better to choose something with similar displacement even though the # of camshafts is different. I think the only single cam on the list was a D16.
badass vid bro need more
Great video!💪💪
I love to see I dont have anybody tuning around where I live
Dude this vid was awesome!
Nice I'll be able to play around with mine more now
Cool video. I think this is first on youtube.
Thanks that was helpful love the videos
Good helpful video hunter
Helping out years later dude thanks a lot helpful information for sure. i can't find the video to data logging did you end making one?
What a great video!
Sweet love the info 😀😀
yess, i loved this great info
You rock man appreciate it for everything the way you break things down give us more Honda video very appreciated mint dog pile chicken smile.... you need to make shirts with mint on the front and on the back dog pow chicken smile....???
Yes
nice introduction. thank for information.
Oh boy this is gonna be a good one :)
Best video ever
At the 4:40 mark where you talk about having a wideband plugged in are you referring to the hooking your wideband up directly to your s300? I was going to see if I needed to do that. Thanks
Thanks for the awesome tutorial! Bout to get a shell and start my first Honda build! I am a diy all day, so i decided to familiarize myself with tuning, hondata and the program. Would it be possible to download the program and start learning how to use it without actually having an ECU/hondata? So I can be ready when I get it.
Great vids! Subscribed 🤣
so rad. thanks man!
Omg yes, how can I relike this video 1000 times. Woohoo Hondata tutorials
Very helpful, thank you
Great video
I didn't know it will directly show you what to adjust according to the data logged with your wide band, even I can do that! How does a wideband connect to the ecu, though?
You can set up the vacuum to be greatest on the left and decrease to the right in the S300 FYI.
Thanks for this.
How do i pull timing for popping and crackling on overrun, far left column or far right column in ign tables? And what is meant by 'tip-in'?
How do you pull the old tune from the computer since you mentioned that
Liked this on both my accounts lol. And follow! Appreciate ya man
I know this is old but would I be able to program my vtec pressure switch through here? My harness doesn’t have a vtec clip for the switch and was wondering if I could be able to bypass it from the s300
You are the man
Deeez nuts got em!!!!
I have another question. Do I need a wiring harness for a honda b20 motor swap? And is it worth it to go with a k24?? Thank man
UA-cam gold !!!
Can you do a video where you show us how to adjust the basemap after installing a turbo im new to tunning and don't know nothing lol..
Drive to work this morning enhanced to you by. Hunter tuned. You should do us a video on air fuel ratio. Widebands. What they do. Why u need one and why essentially air fuel is the most important tuning detail. Lastly. What the ratios mean. What's a bad number. What's a good number.
Mo Bina under 10 is too rich and between there an 12 ish sumn is consider good and really prolly the leanest/richest you want to be during a WOT pull for engine reliability
Hi guys any idea if theres a older software for s300 and the new one on the Hondata site doesnt work on my windows vista yes i know vista is old 😅😅
How’s it going when I’m under parameter analog inputs my list of analog is blank
Regarding the boostcut on s300 v2. I've set my boostcut at 14.7psi, using grimmspeed manual boost cont on 38mm turbosmart gate 7psi spring. The cut seems activated around 9psi so i need to reduce slightly below about 8.5-8.8psi to prevent from boostcut. Ive re-edit the cut setting 13, 15, 17 nothing change. Is anyone have the same problem with me?
