  • In Budapest's Castle Quarter the Hungarian government has decided to rebuild a multitude of buildings that are historically significant. A lot of the architecture in Budapest that existed before world war 2 will be brought back to life. The "National Hauszmann-Program" ("Nemzeti Hauszmann terv") includes the reconstruction of buildings like the Headquarters of the Red Cross, the Archduke Joseph Palace or the Honvéd High Command Building. Other buildings, like Buda Castel itself will be renovated to regain their former Glory! This is a big step for fans of traditional architecture! Enjoy!
