Damn MIT and Caltech are such big rivals that she doesn't even acknowledge Caltech's existence
It's more like MIT and Stanford. In an admissions interview, the interviewer said that the students who reject MIT, most of them go to Stanford. Where as Caltech and MIT get very little crossover.

as an international undergrad applicant my chances were slim. But I'm not giving up. I'll go to MIT one way or another, for Masters or PhD. I'm going to ANU in australia for my degree, but look out MIT I'm still coming for you.

As a viewer I would have liked to see a more thorough intro. For example, provide some background on yourself, Christine, and your relationship. What years are you two into college, how do you know each other, for how long, where you collected the assumptions from, etc. It’s a good vid nonetheless! Continue to inspire!

Idk, i wanted and worked for a few years before going to college and everyone else always talked about to being super hard and stressful, now that im a computer science student....
it doesnt seem as hard as everyone suggested, even from what my current classmates suggest.
If I took a shot everytime somebody said "like" in this video my liver would be destroyed.

in my onion. bit and Harvard are just normal people. like everyone else. probably every school have someone hardworking and some party one. there is not a necessary the big name comes with big competence. so. it's like no need to admire those prestigious university.

I feel like you are so competitive that you find it to be normal and don't even think that you are. Do you guys share homeworks? Or solved past papers? I highly doubt it. That's being competitive. In my university, if someone solved homework, and others are struggling - they share it. Past papers, too.

Why is the MIT student so personable and the Harvard geek so awkward? In my experience in a wide variety of environments I find the MIT alums are highly competent and very easy going while the Harvard people drop the H bomb 💣 immediately and hope that intimidates you. One of the greatest things about getting into Harvard is that you never have to be impressed because someone went to Harvard. I’m much more impressed seeing a Brass Rat on someone’s finger.
