I mean, I didn't receive every grade that I'll have this term (the better ones are coming) but my overall average is actually very average so like is it that bad on an application if I have one term that is not too high above other people's average? because I'm applying to MIT + 4 Ivies so...
Yeah definitely, apply to as many colleges as you can, as long as you are interested in going there. Also, make sure you have a backup plan because you don't want to apply to only like Harvard, MIT, and Princeton and not get in any of them. You probably should apply to universities abroad (though it would really be understandable if you don't want to, it's really expensive, and you might not want to leave the country you live in for uni) because some of them are just as good as like the Ivy League but have higher acceptance rate (like Oxford). If you don't know which colleges are good in what fields go check QS University rankings you can find a lot of information there, just keep in mind that no ranking is 100% objective and it all depends on the criteria they used. Hope it helps, good luck for your college apps.
