I'm using Jio Sim from past 1 year before official launch. no problem yet don't believe all these unnecessary videos, I have changed other operator in same Sim slot it's working perfectly.. Linking aadhar card just for I'd proof they can't harm ur identity or ur Mobile. There is no way to harm ur Sim slot or access it Mobile, if it does people r not do mad in believing and moreover bigshots like Mukesh ambani will be punished... Use Jio with no problems. :)

A great video overall just one thing i would like to tell u is that Sir it is possible to lock ur phone via asim its called as a mac address binding EVER HEARD OF APPLE JAILBREAKING ITS THE SAMETHING COZ UR OPERATOR BINDS THE MAC OF UR PHONE WITH THE SIM CARD TO UNBIND IT U HAVE TO PAY A FINE nowwhether the reliance will go this far with jio or not is a different question just dont say its not possible without verifying the facts.

As per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, no Internet based call should ever be merged with a telecom network call. JIO is doing exactly the same thing. You get to make calls via JIO based app, which allows you to initiate an internet call. It is unlike previous offers which allowed users to call using cell phone dialer pad.
JIO in my opinion is clearly making fool of the people. They talk about that other providers are not providing points of interconnection. Well if they do, then it is a clear cut flouting the norms.
The true story is Internet calls via whatsapp, viber, skype is taking a toll on telecom operators earning. So Reliance came up with this idea and tricked people into buying their SIMs which are purely enabled for IP based calling, not GSM calling.
u mean to say trai has no idea that something like this is happening and you r the only wise person on planet who has noticed this. Has this been illegal competing companies wud have dragged jio in litigation...which infact they did try for other reason not this one...
thanks for noting... they are operating completely on VoIP, that's the first thing. if you read through TRAI rules it clearly states so that VoIP and pstn should not be merged. I've already filed an RTI... that sure would clarify.
