- Ms.Reeta Pariyar came back to Nepal after 12 years. She was happy to see all the changes and development happening around her town. While enjoying all the changes that was happening she was once called to attend a wedding function but what she saw there completely changed her whole perception.This incident made her go back to her childhood and reminded her of all the mental tortures she had to go through.
Here in this session Ms. Reeta Pariyar shares about one incident that not only changed her perception but made her stay back in the country to do something for her own society.How she along with her friends started Padyatra for 54 days walking across the country,West to East, Mahakali to Mechi with aim of ending all form of untouchability.
Ms. Reeta Pariyar got selected from ‘I Have A Story To Yell’ and was given an opportunity to yell her story in our The StoryYellers platform.‘

These days we are almost economically fine but still education level and service in public service commission is very less so along with the revolution lets focus on this issues...........

This is the harsh reality of our society. There are so many people like me who do not give a rats ass about who you are or what's your cast, creed race and religion. But I also know there are so many others who are stupid and made stupid to believe that some are higher than others. We just have to educate ourselves first and our close ones and slowly but surely this light will show those ignorant ones that we are not different at all. I'm sorry Reeta that you went thru all this. I have always think about this issue and have retaliated against this. But it breaks my heart there are still so many dumb people in our society. We just have to educate these stupid ones who are racists or castists (Is this even a word). in contrary we also have to be mindful about reverse racism or let's say castsism in our case. There are so many issues that need to be addressed. But Reeta please reply me and we can talk more about it.
Everything that are practised in our society is the things which have been poured into our minds consciously and unconsciously. We cannot blame others who have this hierarchical principle installed in the mind. All we can do to abolish is not to teach/practise in front of our children. One generation still has this thing & I think our generation and upcoming generation will surely not practise this.
But yah future beholds much scarier basis of discrimination. I hope things will get better and better. May everything remain in peace.
I think the new generations are fine, there's no discrimination among us. The problem is with the old generations like our parents and grandparents, they still feel uncomfortable. So it's our responsibility to correct those old asses. They may know a lot of things but if i feel any tension cause of caste, i speak up

Dalits are under represented in politics, govt jobs and in many sectors. there are so many rapes and murders happening in our country because of this casteism. so aile yo kura thik cha bhannu mildaina. There's a quota system to empower Dailts but its not implemented the way its supposed to be.

I don't know if i should feel happy that i shouldn't go through this all or else i should feel bad that still racism is being practiced in our country...
We,the 21st century youth completely disagree the racism but the main problem is that..these some of the youth are being taught by their parents about so called higher and lower caste people difference when there is nothing at all..
