Chocolate cake (no flour)
Dark Chocolate 100g
Butter 85g
Cocoa powder 6g
Sugar 100g
6 eggs
Salt 1g
Bake at 180°C(356°F) for 10 to 12 min
Chocolate Coffee Chantilly Cream
Dark Chocolate 130g
Milk 75g
Coffee bean 10g
Whipping cream 300g
Sugar 25g
Chocolate shavings(decorative)
I made this yesterday , it’s super good , this is the first time I made a chantilly cream , it’s so delicious and the directions make it practically foolproof (also in case anybody was also worrying about this : the amount of cream is perfect for the cake , no excess , usually in cake recipes there is so much icing left over but seriously these measurements are just perfect) also I didn’t have coffee beans so I used about a teaspoon of instant , it still tastes amazing and rich, and didn’t affect anything else

Made this and omg 😱 I am amazed every time I take a bite that this has no flour in it. Thank you so much for this recipe. I’m planning on taking it to every dinner I get invited to.
One thing I tweaked:
After adding the coffee beans to the milk and then reading to wait 30 mins to soak i thought no one has time for that so I added a little instant coffee and didn’t wait 30 mins. No regrets. Don’t skip on the coffee guys! The coffee and chocolate meld perfectly together to give you that dreamy deliciousness.
Anyways I think I’m beginning to sound a tad like a creepily obsessed person so I’ll stop here.
I don’t have coffee beans 😅 nor the time. Instant coffee sounds like a good choice ! How much instant coffee did u add to the milk ?
You can use 3g-5g pure instant coffee instead of coffee beans.

Omg this was sooo good. Just FYI for people
On keto diet. You can replace the sugar with monk fruit (no aftertaste) and it is totally keto friendly. My guesstimate even with the milk is that for 10 serving the calorie count is 300 and ~ 2 net carbs. Also I used instant coffee and still tasted amazing. I used Lily’s semi sweet chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate.

This cake turned out amazing! Everybody loved it! I used espresso instead of beans and some coffee liqueur and it was rich in flavor, but also smooth and light. Make this cake, you will not regret it!

@@nguyendang6178 Depends on how strong coffee is - I tried with regular coffee and it was bland, that's why I used coffee liqueur and it was perfect. If using a real espresso I'd say it depends on the taste, whether you want it to have a strong taste of coffee, or mellow, smooth-like.

I made the cake and it tasted wonderful! I didn’t have coffee beans so I used instant coffee. My family isn’t a huge fan of sweet things so I reduced the amount of chocolate and sugar and I was worried it might not turn out that good but it was really delicious! My favorite part is the frosting because it’s not a heavy frosting. It’s light and that coffee flavor in the frosting is perfect for the cake.

Gloria Margarita Fagoaga For the cake, I used 90 g chocolate chips instead of 100 and 65 g sugar instead of 100g. For the cream, I used 100 g chocolate chips instead instead of 130 and 15 g sugar instead of 25 g. If you lower the sugar more than this, then I would consider lowering the amount of coffee because you don’t want it to be that strong. Sorry for the late reply.

I like to use a spoon and lightly mix the whites with the cream,rather than a hand mixer. It stays fluffier

simply search online amount of grams to ounces or teaspoons. to convert.
Try a small baking digital scale, it would save u time converting into cups

I tasted a bit of the cake edge and for those asking, no, it does not taste eggy. Once I put it together, I plan to freeze part of it (except for the grated chocolate) and see how that goes. Pigeoneer Toy I get it about the Nutella! But yes, thanks, the cake refrigerates and freezes well. I cut it into 8-1 inch slices (ie crosswise) and froze 4 standing up and separated with small pieces of parchment paper. If you don’t thaw them entirely, it’s a bit like ice cream cake! For 2 people, it’s 4 days desserts!

Cake is delicious, a sponge cake-like consistency. The cake layers are quite soft and fragile, so perhaps cut cake leaving the baking paper to help move and place. THEN gently pull away.

For the people who don’t like the coffee, you can substitute it with oranges (or any combination you want with chocolate). I just made it and it tastes amazing. What I did was add orange zest and orange extract to my whipped cream at the end. Add as much as you like!
