- My message to @columbia President Minouche Shafik today was clear: No student should ever be harassed, threatened, or assaulted simply for being Jewish.
I’ll continue working to address the blatant antisemitism on our college campuses and ensure the safety of all our students.
If this Shafik woman had an iota of decency, she would resign and let a more qualified person take on this role.

The key to whats going on in Columbia is the level and orientation of the faculty which have been hired and gained tenure in the last 20 years. The place is infiltrated with pro-Hamas radical woke, often middle eastern low grade faculty, and the students are indoctronated to an extent of no return. A lost generation for America's higher education.

The most that will happen is that the teachers will convey their Jew/Israel hating messages in a more implicit manner, marking papers that dont slam Israel with a low mark etc.

The college demonstrators are asking for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and a stop to the genocide and ethnic cleansing there which is being done by Israel using US made bombs and free money. I doubt these are religious students. Majority of them are leftist and generally are agnostic. They are using Muslim prayers as a tactic used by the intifada in Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Libya etc. The US and Israel were supporters of the Syrian and Libyan Intifada. Intifada means uprising. In these countries intifada includes both christians and Muslims standing together in Muslim prayers.The christian just stand with the Muslims but don't pray. The Muslims pray. Then the christian priest will chant his prayers whole the Muslim just stand. It was a normal during the uprising in 2010 etc.

I am so glad for the work of the committee holding this hearing watching what’s going on in Columbia has been a living nightmare of students live an hourly fear that the next phone call will be an attack on our children. These demonstrations have been anything but peaceful this has been an absolute betrayal by universities up-and-down but Columbia, where the started this is unforgivable especially when they focus on Israel’s response knowing well that Hamas has over 100 hostages and over 30 bodies and then if those hostages and remains were returned, the war would end immediately. Israel to abandon the hostages, knowing that they are being tortured and raped daily is just not gonna happen.
