I love how this professor talked about the Jewish and Palestinian situation but made a point to distinguish that conflict and the events that are happening in the U.S. Regardless of what side you’re on, we cannot allow demonstrations to bring fear to those being protested against. My heart goes out to the innocent Palestinians who are being affected by the Israeli response to Hamas’ heinous attack on 10/7. However, here in the U.S. we cannot allow these protesters to bring fear to the Jewish people. We may be Jewish, Palestinian or what have you but in the end we are AMERICAN! If they don’t like that our govt. is supporting Israel, then protest against the govt. That’s what we did in the 60’s when it came to the Vietnam War and civil rights. Don’t take it out on your fellow citizens.
