So I wanted to get my nephew into STEM and have him build a Slash diy kit himself... Thinking about upgrades for down the road and am thinking the HW 1060 and 1080 be a good upgrade for the XL5 esc. More amps, tunability with the 1080... This would give the bugger something to tinker around with before getting him into a full on brushless set up. Thanks for the video and inspiration! Ok complete noob, but how is the steering servo controlled? I am thinking about upgrading the esc in my hbx16889 but that also has the 3wire to the servo. Eth am I missing lol??
What ever happened with the airfield p51? I bought one 12 years ago, just set it up to fly this coming summer. If you ever want to sell your I’d love to purchase it.

I've put these ESC in my 2002 Duratrax Delphi Indy Car. That & 15-turn motor means I've truly polished a turd! A FAST turd at that!!!

mine only have the light blinking when i hit the throttle, but the servo works normal, what should i do?

My set turns on and off? Servo will not hold positions and motor doesn't keep going.
