I was hoping Jason would go through the city of Tanga when he left Mombasa. But I guess he's going to miss that nice port city with it's rich history and wonderful people. I lived and worked in Tanga briefly in the mid nineteen eighties.
You don’t need to put South Africa 🇿🇦 down in order to up lift Tanzania 🇹🇿. Those are two awesome countries, moreover they share the same anthem: God Bless Africa !
Such an absolutely gorgeous country! You could really see in your video how fresh and clear the air is. I loved too they grow all my favourite things - bananas, mangoes, passion fruit, coffee & honey - I wouldn’t starve 😊
I really enjoyed this video, Jason. I had never seen anything like this before. Makes me want to visit this amazing place. You appeared to be very happy with your experience! Well done!
Excellent! Very much enjoyed it. What I appreciate most is your excellent and well thought out narration, your exceptionally pleasant demeanor, openness, and respect for the local people
WOW!!! Thank you for taking us along....Subhanallah! it's so heart moving to see individuals that don't have much but are very very happy they really appreciate what they have and the children are so cute especially the one with his long yellow shirts starting at 7.34
Perhaps this is my most favorite videos of yours J.B. I was moved to tears with the simple beauty of the people and their coffee dancing - pure joy. As if the news did not exist. Thank God for these people, and thank you for bringing this into my home this evening - I needed to see this
Wow , very nice trip. Thanks for taking us there with you. It reminded me so much of Yungas in Bolivia, my country. A mountain forest region, where you can also find coffee and a very lush vegetation and waterfalls etc. The people who live there are also black people, so your video reminded me so much of that. Look how far away this places are and how similar at the same time. We humans should focus more on that, ponder about our similarities and enjoy our diversity .... 🙏
I’ve been through east Africa but unfortunately didn’t visit Tanzania. Ethiopia was the highlight for me. I’d love to go back and finish that region, Burundi, Tanzania and even head to Madagascar. Great video again man, Tanzania looks beautiful
A HUGE WOW!! I absolutely loved this video. I was there with you all the way, feeling it! Breathing the air as you walked with your wonderful guide through that fabulous rich green terrain of Mt Kilimanjaro and its magnificent waterfall. The coffee celebration was really special as well. I spent three weeks in Ethiopia as a Best Man for my friend who married an Ethiopian girl. There were daily coffee celebrations in the different family environments so the memories came flooding back. Your travels through this very interesting part of the world was on my bucket list for many years but my 1969 VW campervan was stolen in Spain just as I was about to cross over into Africa in 1990 so I was never able to achieve this goal. So once again I am vicariously living the journey through your wonderful and educational eyes. Well done to you again! You are certainly building an incredible bank of travel memories that will make you an incredible person in your later years and which will give you the sense of satisfaction that you have indeed lived your life to the fullest.
My most favourite place on the Kilimanjaro! Shimbwe village! I just missed you by a few days. I spend most my time in Victor's guesthouse. Great video!
After watching this movie, my heart is torn again, be it Kenya or Tanzania. decided this year kenya and my friends tanzania next year. I love these movies !!
@@misschagga8042 🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤Thank you very much for inviting me, but first I will go to my friends in Kenya. I think I left my heart there. Nice people. I really did a lot of sightseeing, but nowhere has I felt so good. I think it will be similar in Tanzania. But first I'm going for my heart
The highlight to me is the coffee pounding and drinking. What an experience. The entire village came and danced as soon as the drums started playing. Awesome. That chi chi bush looks like Lemon Grass!!
Thanks for showing our Tanzania to the world, honestly Tanzania is the best destination if you really want to explore safari staffs and learn the new african culture which you won't find any where in the in africa
What a serene video! I appreciate how you let the nature sounds of Tanzania fill the background versus instrumental music. It made me feel as if I was there too! Beautiful video!
what a beautiful and lush area. I enjoyed your walk with Victor. Love the little ones dancing. that's what I do before I drink my first cup of coffee in the morning, haha. Continued safe travels to you Jason.
Jason, This is one of my favorite videos and experiences of yours! The area seems so natural and unspoiled. The people, the community, the children, all have such joyous and open hearts. The 'Coffee Grinding' (or more pounding) was absolutely delightful! I hope to visit here someday.
Wow what a paradise and so lucky to have coffee from the natives there. Over a wood fire kid of like a camping coffee. Thank you it was was ver enjoyable to see
I've been to Mt. Kenya twice but by vehicle because they have a nice tarmac road up to around 3,000m up. This video has motivated me to do a Mt. Kilimanjaro visit later in the year. Won't go up to the summit, but somewhere around the waterfall seems doable and fun. Talk to the people, buy good honey & coffee
I saw the roads to Uru and knew you were going to the Materuni waterfalls area! been there myself! Grew up in Machame..... great vegetation, great weather and the view of Kilimanjaro is amaizing!
Absolutely beautiful. I'm sure you could write a book on the cultural significance of coffee. I once was given white coffee by a Syrian bloke in Medina. It too tasted like tea (to my untrained palate). Another time I had the best black coffee in the middle of a tropical storm, next to a huge waterfall in Banyuwangi, East Java. Little things, in the grand scheme of things, but important nonetheless. Keep up the good work Jason.
Thanks for coming to Tanzania, if you have considered going on a safari it's a high season to see the spectacular view of wildebeest migration at ndutu & grumeti if you would love to. I would be more than ready to assist you buddy and arrange the 3 days trip! You would make great wildlife videos that you will never regret! Welcome again, enjoy your stay bro
Props for not editing out the mistake in calling taking away the chicken as stealing. I think your videos are really educational and highlight many cultural perspective that are best experienced by being there
Wow I’ll be wanting to visit after hiking the Kilimanjaro mountain and hitting Zanzibar afterwards … a stopover here might be nice definitely. Nature is my drug and I can’t get enough !! thanks Jason for bringing yet another great vlog lad. 😎👍
@B45 because government corruption makes it difficult to make enough money to live a normal life. This is now every where even in Europe the economy is bad, but refugees thinking Europe is still same as two decades ago. Every gov on earth are acting in self interest.
@B45 who told you this refugeees are from Tanzania! Africa is a huge massive continent with about 54 to 56 countries! Where exactly are those refugess from? Most are from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and others
What you experienced sums up the whole purpose of traveling! visiting the highlands of Africa and walking its jungles, getting to know the locals, witnessing the organic coffee making from such a fella like Doctor Coffee and maan that beat making with the dancing 😆 it became a ritual to those people and it MUST be. It's solidly my vibe and I'll be definitely doing it one day.
23:05 Drying the beans for a couple of days is an important step to produce a "western taste" from green coffee beans. That`s why your cup tasted like tea.
This must be one of your most beautiful videos so far. What a gorgeous place. I am sure you could get used to that! I think I could too. Fresh fruit and lovely people, lush greenery... may be there are spiders, mosquitoes and snakes. But with such beautiful surroundings, who cares.
i have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and your right you need to do some training as its not a walk in the park but a great experience standing on the roof of Africa , Tanzania ticks all the boxes and the people are really nice .
Tanzania is a paradise!
Born n brought up in Tanga, nothing can be compared to this country!

@B45I can’t own it but my mother is from there and still lives there so it’s under her name.
Beautiful TZ, beautiful Africa! Thank you for showing the real beauty of Africa...too much negativity and biased news usually seen on our screens...
