The Hu is a Mongolian rock band formed in 2016. With traditional Mongolian instrumentation, including the Morin khuur, and Mongolian throat singing, the band calls their style of music "hunnu rock", hu being a Mongolian root word for "human . I researched them a few months ago and Im going to see them in the UK next month .
Good reaction to a group I really like. The Hu were recently in the USA and opened for Babymetal at a couple of shows at the end of their Metal Galaxy tour. 👍🐴🐺
Their "The Great Chinggis Khan" video is their best one by far, to me anyway, it shows just how heavy metal they can get...and check out how insanely long he holds the note at the end of that song..good reaction btw.. I subscribed...they're one of my fav. all time bands and I'm a heart and soul metal head from way back in the day..so that should tell you just how good this band is..you should check out more of their stuff
Yesssssss, Detrucci! This made me so happy to watch. I feel like I had the same first reaction, a bit flabbergasted from the surprise of something totally new to your ears. I have not watched the Papa Roach remix yet, I may wait until you react to it instead.
Thank you for your nice reaction to my fav.band, the Hu. So I just subscribed to your channel to see more of them. It would be interesting to do reaction to both versions of Wolf totem at once ;-)
Nice reaction video mate! I reckon its better to react to the original music of Wolf Totem first then the featured one. Also its even better 2 in one video back to bsck starting off from the original? That would be interesting!
@@Detrucci the instruments are the Morin khuur (spelling might be wrong), or horse head fiddle. They use traditional Mongolian throat singing fused with metal. I also like The Great Chinggis Khan if you are looking for other songs by the Hu.
Thanks so much for your reaction, it was Fantastic, I enjoyed pretty much. Wolf Totem The original I strongly recommend you to watch first. Cheers from Spain. HU HU HU!
Mongolian throat singing. Awesome, right?! If I recall, the song is a lamentation about the younger generation not embracing the legends of their past. I could be wrong! Also check out their song Wolf Totem. 🤘🔥 For more international metal, check out Bloodywood. They are an Indian street metal band, with a bit of rap thrown in. They are talented, funny as hell (they've done some metal parodies of popular songs) and many of their songs have important social messages. Here are a couple of links for you. Make sure you watch until the very end because they often have outtakes or special messages during or after the credits. Ok Detrucci. Time to experiment. I've been thinking about this. Will you listen to Allman brothers band live "Dreams"? Give it a shot. I'd love to hear what you think
Do you have any interest in KPOP? There is a girl group called Dreamcatcher with dark concept and rock vibe, kinda ressemble BabyMetal, though a little more poppy. If you wanna check out, I suggest their debut song Chase Me and 2nd single title track Good Night. Their choreography is flawless too.
