Really enjoyed the Rover series. My father bought a 214 new and then passed it on to my wife. Had it for 12 years until the head gasket went. Very nice to look at the Danish scenery as you drove along.
Ooo fingers crossed for Lada/FSO pickup which fits all the criteria mentioned, very rudimentary but insanely rugged and reliable beasties, nicknamed amongst many names to include "bandits" and "cut throats" and it wasn't unheard of owners upgrading with fitting FIAT later engines from the 130/131's making them very swift despite their boiler plate build.
Gosh Seppo your neighbours are going to like the new Polish van 🤣, you sure it’s not a TRACTOR 🚜 in disguise ? So noisy 😆 they gonna so love every time you start it up. Rover leaving is sad but life goes on and old Rover don’t die they just rust away .
Well the Zuk seems to be running so I hope it also drives well enough to get you home. Fingers crossed. There is strong interest in commercials so I hope this can be a good deal for you.
Ah, a Zuk! Nice ancient technology based on the Pobeda which was designed in the 40s. It has the newer improved OHC engine though, so at least it won't automatically burn its own valves when you go over 70 km/h
I thought it is a Mercedes 207 But i think im wrong. I've seen some comments about a Polish van. I am waiting for next video and i almost can not sleep. Oh i am going to Sweden after the winter so if you have found parts for the mopet i can haul it just like last time.
I will guess at an FSO Polonez pickup, or maybe something Polski Fiat. I've never been a fan of anything Rover after about 1978, so not sorry to see the 216i go.

No look at the end it really looks more like a FSC Żuk as someone suggested lol

Next car: made into the 1990’s. Must be FIAT 126. Rare examples are the ones converted to a pick up ‘truck’. But very valuable today.
