Remember watching your uploads from the first trip to South Korea, They were inspiring to watch,that I decided to book my son and I trip to South Korea. Loved watching (as always). How do you find navigating Hongdae (and Korea in general) knowing and speaking English fluently? Do you find you have to translate a lot of the maps, general navigation from place to place, eateries, shopping?

I've never been to Korea myself but hearing from my friends' experience.... the locals are not very keen on being hospitable to tourists.... even when you made it clear you only speak English coming from US, they still wouldn't care and go on & on in Korean while losing patience.... but if you were white, maybe they would be nicer.... again, that's the consensus I was getting from most people I know that have visited.... People in Japan on the other hand would always try to help despite language barriers
