@minhducnguyen9276 so I'm new to the game, and I swear I get duped by my own engine noises. I spent a minute last night staring at fence because I was convinced there was something on the other side. It wasn't until I realized what sounded like a moving tank was stationary that I figured out it was my own engine.
6:00 Me going back in time just to tell the British tank designers to make APHE for all of their tanks so they don't suffer in a fictional game 80 years later.
Fun fact: IRL HE filler in AP shells was largely ineffective at increasing casualties since the high-hardness steel in AP shells tended to separate into only a few large chunks (typically three, IIRC) instead of fragmenting into a cloud of death like in-game, plus since inertia is a thing the shell chunks had a fairly narrow cone pattern to them as a result of the pre-detonation forwards velocity, so they didn't really hit anything an intact shell wouldn't. So, naturally, they got dropped because losing penetration and adding yet more things in a tank that can explode and kill everyone inside didn't make up for the slight increase in enemy casualties.
@@SpardaSon21 Do you know what shells this was tested for, cause some of AP shells in this game have positively massive amounts of filler in them and I wonder if the results are significantly different for those.
@@PMARC14 Not really. Off the top of my head the best that was ever done was five pieces or so for a Russian round, and that's with their potent filler and relatively poor shell steel.
@@SpardaSon21 I think the idea is that explosion itself and not the fragments that'd do the most damage since it goes off in confined space. But since iirc British tests of the APHE shells show they're actually kinda janky in their fuze performance, strangely i never heard the problem in other nation's shells tho.
I always use it in my 5.0 lineup in Japan with the Chi-to late, an AA and some planes It's a solid tank for long range support and close quarters ambush (although is fucking huge) Also I love baiting enemies by firing the 37 making them think I shoot the main gun
the disappearing tanks anti cheat thing at a minimum should be turned off in a 1km radius or just removed all together because i know they want to prevent i guess wall hacks but it doesn’t stop that since the wall hacks don’t need a rendered tank to work and now after i think about 2 years of playing the games and now just having reached 1000 hours i have run into a minuscule total of 3 hackers.
7:54 the fuel tank exploded hurting the fighting compartment and since they guys vitality crew was terrible they just died instantly, the 2nd shot shows that the turret crew was dead
The use of Big Lez got my instant like! Also, this tank when it was 4.7 and the 17pdr didn't fire confetti after post pen it was absolutely silly. Not quite T20 worthy but pretty close. Another thing to remember about the Chi-Ri 2 besides the size and the armour thickness, is the shape of the armour. It's actually got a decent bit more armour than the Sherman statistically, but it's flat. So it ends up with a little bit *less* armour at 5.0.
@@desertfalcon1539 Yeah it stays in the lineup for ages as well. Since it's armour is marginally better than tissue paper at that tier, it performs about the same wherever you bring it. Reload speed is pretty good though.
As an owner of the Aussie tank I can confirm it's a beast, decent speed, good 17 pounder and decent armour I had more fun playing this tank than any other brithish tanks
Fun fact, this thing essentially had 3 v6 engines bolted together and stuck in this thing, another fun fact, I've seen it irl in a tank museum in Cairns, it's very cool. Also it's older brother the AC1 with the funny hull machine gun.
I'd love to see the A.C.1! They really are wicked looking tanks, and the program is certainly a testament to Australian war time production efforts. It's impressive how many of these things still survive today. Now all that is needed is the A.C.3 (maybe the one with dual 25pdrs) to form the Sentinel dream team.
Despite what they call it the one in game is actually an ac3 hull and an ac1 turret. We need the ac2 which was a light version and as much as I'd love a real ac4 in game we won't because the plans weren't even finalised let alone built sadly
Not gonna lie I would love to see a video on the RBT-5 with how insane it is at low-tier once you get the hang of the 250kg rockets…. Also hit 1000 battles on the RBT-5 myself lol

The AC IV was an interesting vehicle Australia had been getting done over as far as deliveries were going with promised vetches being diverted so we designed our own then figured the gun needed upgrading so fitted a 17 pounder then the US gave us a lot of tanks so we abandoned the project but one of the engineers working on the project used the knowledge to help design the Firefly gun system
