I couldn't believe how easy this was to do back when I first learned it! Your yarn will not come undone with the Russian Join! I PROMISE you will be amazed at how strong this is to join your yarn!! Let me know what your favorite yarn join method is!! 😀🧶
waiting for you to do step by step toe up sock with judys magic cast with GSR heel all on chiaagoo circular needles on magic loop! your voice is soothing and you could walk us beginners through it with such awesome instruction Thank you
I really like the Russian Join and the Braided Join. But my all-time favorite is the Spit Splice! It’s an amazing join for 100% natural animal fibers! But, as you know, so much of the wool is super washed these days so it won’t work on that. Thanks for sharing with us!!
I agree, the Spit Splice method is way cool!! It's kinda like Magic the way it felts together. I know what you mean though about the super washes...Thanks for visiting, glad you liked this! 😃
This is a really nice demo of a Russian join. I mostly crochet amigurumi which makes my life super easy as I can just knot yarn ends together on the inside of the piece 😆
I saw that too the very 1st time I had learned this, but it's pretty amazing that it doesn't come undone. It's Just physics that keeps it together I think lol
okay update! i did it it took a while but I did it thank you so much this is amazing! I'm literally jumping up and down right now! i can't thank you enough

This looks fine with bulky yarn, but I don't think DK and less would be very difficult to run the needle through the yarn.
Hey largish! Yeah, it might be easier then lol! 😄
