This whole unplugged album/performance is definitely worth watching please take the time to watch it even if you don’t record your reactions it’s still one of the best Nirvana performances ever
It’s unbelievable to me that the douchebag who married Frances Bean, Kurt’s daughter, STOLE this guitar from her in the divorce. And tha fkn law did NOTHING to help her with that. If I’d known Frances personally I would’ve done her the favor of retrieving it back for her. I mean DAMN….makes me wanna go after that fer even NOW. I believe he sold it for a couple million then it’s recent sale brought the 6 million dude up top mentioned. So yeah, from what I understood, the POS EX STOLE IT….then made TWO MILLION from it. And meanwhile it’s sit’n in some strangers studio rather than his daughters. Makes me sick.
In a just universe Cobain lived a long life and became the John Prine of a younger generation, introducing them to their past through the power of his brilliant reinterpretations.
This is my favourite Nirvana performance EVER! I was so pleased when 'Nirvana Unplugged' was released as an album. This is IMO the best song on there, even though it was a cover - Kurt's voice & charisma took it to a whole new level - the way he looked up at 5:31 - haunting, brings me to tears every time. Kurt was a gentle but troubled soul who hated fame, I was deeply affected by his tragic death, but what a wonderful legacy he left us.....I wish he'd got to see his daughter grow up. R.I.P. Kurt Cobain 💔
Appreciate the reaction! Another example of why 90s were the greatest era of music! Kurts emotions and pain are front stage during this whole performance! Voted one of the best live shows ever! My all-time favorite!
Many many many say that this was Kurt's funeral in a sense. The stargazer lillie's and the way he poured everything into this show..Died 5-6 months later
They way it was edited and shown on MTV in the first years( at least here on MTV in Europe....back in the day when MTV still existed I never saw a complete version) it missed all the small funny parts that defintely were part of the show. When I bought the DVD of the gig I got a different picture of the gig. And did he die or was he murdered....we will never know completely. There are some things that speak against his suicide. Perhaps we will find out one day.
Jury's voice was perfect for his music. He would never be a classic singer, but that's why he was prefect. A unique individual like non we will ever see again.
It was incredible watching you swaying along to the rhythm and then stopping when it's clear that you're listening to the lyrics and are invested in the story.
Saw them in like ‘88 or ‘89 in a teen club in downtown Olympia, WA in the days before Dave Grohl. Small crowd. Nobody knew who the heck they were. We’d all soon find out.
A wonderful number from Kurt and Nirvana , love this kind of music ! Straight from the hart. Love you’re color full dress and Smile! Love from Holland ! 🇳🇱👍😘💋
Nirvana.....one of my favourite groups, of my 90's. I've a grunge side , in me. From the same unplugged session , I suggest you the cover " The man who sold the world".
Hi from Wilmington, Delaware! Thank you for your reaction videos. You have brought some joy and light and music back into my life during this difficult year. Nirvana is, by far, my favorite grunge band. I've been a singer songwriter since my teens, music is my passion, but the pandemic and not being able to perform has left me unmotivated to even pick up an instrument or sing. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago, and watching you listen and react to all the music I grew up with or have listened to my whole life has been such a pleasure....so thank you.
Loved your reaction. Kurt Cobain was incredibly talented. If only he were here now, I can’t imagine the amazing music we’ve missed out on from him. He was a great person as well. If you liked this please react to more nirvana. I’ll leave some suggestions in the comment below this with links to everything.

Another performer in the infamous 27 Club. Contrary to what many think, the club "members" were far more than just a few, but all of them died at the age of 27. The most famous ones, apart from Kurt Cobain, are Robert Johnson, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Amy Winehouse, but there were lots more, except that they were not as famous.
MTV Unplugged was a series MTV had back in the 90s where every week if I recall correctly would have a different band in the same setting in a stripped down acoustic performance, that is why it is similar to Pearl Jam's performance other than being both from Seattle and top players in the Grunge music scene. This was a way for artist to showcase their natural music talent as if it were in a home living room setting.
There’s a part at the end of the video where Kurt is singing with his eyes closed & he opens them for a second before letting out an amazing vocal & it’s almost like you can see part of him or his soul/spirit leave his body
God of Rock Kurt Cobain ❤ there's no day in my life , that i would stop to miss him , i miss him very much while listening his songs ❤ he passed away , i was 8 months old , now 29 years later i proudly can say , that he will always my favorite icon in rock music ❤🖤💔💔💔 Kurt Cobain 1967- 1994 💔💔💔🖤🖤❤❤
Thank you for your reaction to my favorite Nirvana performance! Kurt Cobain was an amazing performer taken from us sadly far too soon. My recommendation from this Unplugged concert would be Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam. Keep up the great work on your channel!!
Fun fact: Kurt wanted to buy Lead Belly’s guitar for $500,000. The guitar Kurt played during this MTV Unplugged performance sold at auction last year for $6,000,000. Six. Million. Dollars. 👀
The sad thing is this felt like a direct question to his wife this night, not a song for us. He knew how much of a cheater she was, even the nanny that took care of his own daughter had slept with her. Ironically Kurt wanted David Geffen to buy Leadbelly's guitar for him at $500,000. The one he's playing sold for $6,000,000...I think Kurt surpassed his favorite performer. Get ready for the chills..."shiver for me..."

Thank you❤️
SUPER talented guy with struggles. He had such an amazing and unique voice. Really liked everything they did.
My voice of my generation. I love you Kurt. Thank you
@@MorenikejiTaiwo Fun story about the subject at 1:12 The wool cardigan Kurt have on, sold for 334.000$ 2018-19
He jokes about being offered Leadbelly's guitar for $500k, the guitar in this video sold for $6 million a few years back lol
Ooh🤔
$6million dollars?!😨
Doesn’t surprise me....a dead Kurt Cobain item is gonna fetch way more $$$$ than a dead Leadbelly item....just sayin
The sweater sold for 6 hundred thousand
Es cobain... Es invaluable.

He left his soul on this stage.
His moment of clarity gives me goosebumps.

One of my favorite songs on earth! RIP Kurt, you gave me an memorable teenage youth with your music. Love you...

Hello from Australia. Keep the great music coming. Love your reactions.
Its very heartbreaking to see this musical genius unable to conquer his demons caused him to take life rip my man Kurt we love you.

Nirvana Unplugged must hear:
1. Jesus dont want me as a sunbeam.
2. Pennyroyal Tea.
Pennyroyal Tea was great but I prefer the album version of that one

Nice pick... u know it's an old song by Leadbelly... u should check it out... but yeah good choice.. 1 of my favorites from unplugged
Cobain kind of just radiated the power of genuinity and the right to originality that came to inspire so much of the music of the 90ies
There’s a part at the end of the video where Kurt is singing with his eyes closed & he opens them for a second before letting out an amazing vocal & it’s almost like you can see part of him or his soul/spirit leave his body

I have a suggestion on this Valentines Day. “ KNOCKS ME OFF MY FEET “ by Stevie Wonder. And “MAYBE IM AMAZED”. By Paul McCartney. Both romantic
( No idea why - honest!! ) but the phrase ' getting away with murder' just cropped-up in my mind.
