The wheel covers are super sick, restomod feel like all the old Euro rally cars that have been resto modded lately in real life. The canopy makes the whole body look a little more plausable in real life, looks more real life for sure i like it a lot

If you are looking for criticisms, the only thing I would have done differently is the top of the canopy. Where it has been extended, I would have made the leading edge rounded to match the bottom shape of the canopy as opposed to it being square. Basically the same shape as the rounded shape of the decal at the back of the canopy where it joins the yellow painted body piece. Am I making sense? Otherwise, I would have changed nothing else! Excellent work as usual! Do you think that getting the springs painted the same yellow colour be too much? I think it would look cool. The springs are the only parts that are not either blue, yellow or black...just saying...😜
wow LOOK AT IT!......I really like this look, should have been the box art! Only bit I'm not sold on are the yellow speed discs I reckon it would be better without them and just have black wheels.
Really like that, but I'm a massive neon yellow fan! Would like to see how the front wing would look further forward, kind of how it was on the original predator, as feel it might make the car look a bit longer? Awesome effort though, loved this video series so far.
Excellent thanks Chris, yeah your right the wing did look better right at the front but when the mudguards went on it just didn’t look right. That’s actually why it’s only stuck on at the moment. I may well loose the mudguards and mount the wing Predator style 😊👊🏻
Nice job. I do think the scoops and detailing on the body opens the door to painting rather than decaling the yellow or other colours. There's a strong basis to work from for future designs and liveries. The OCD in me would like the number 5 font on the wing to match the body numbers ;-)
Wow, just....WOW!!!! Dude, you've done an amazing job of that Super Avante bodyshell, it looks utterly awesome!! I love the colour scheme you've done on it, seriously superb. Great video, can't wait to see it running :)

G'day Glenn mate that looks way better than stock I don't like box art at all on this car you have waved your magic and made it so much better again mate 👍👍
I really gotta say that you nailed it with the change in the bodies graphics and the wheel discs. I personally would rather go with the standard yellow instead of the neon, but that's just my taste. Overall that's an epic build. It's a shame that the wheel discs are so fragile and you can't actually run them. Someone needs to do those in 3d-printed plastic.
I have to admit I'm not a fan of the wheel shrouds, I think they look a bit tacky to be honest. The rest of the car... wow! Amazing job and vision to do that so massive props to you. Love it.
I think it turned out really nice, the colors work really well, and the modifications make it look quite unique. The front wing perhaps isnt my favorite, but it does add some flavor to the car. :D Its fun seeing all the color combos people come up with for this RC car. :D
Hey Glenn, you just made yourself a good-looking ‘88 Super Avante! It looks really nice, and first impression counts! After looking at it for a tad longer, I think the Avante 2001 fonts would be a better choice. The body shell is kinda “roundish” so I reckon the sharper 2001 fonts would make this car look more “chiseled’ and therefore bring out the classic Avante vibes better.
I was only going to get the td2 but seeing how your td4 looks I’m ordering the td4 too. Your design somehow makes the td4 look slimmer than others I’ve seen, nice 👍
@@TAMIYALegends you’re welcome, keep up the great content. I know it’s not easy staying motivated sometimes but enthusiasts like you help keep the hobby alive. Well done 👍
I was in the same camp, just wanting the TD2, as I find 2 wheel drive cars more fun to drive. But after seeing how it actually goes together and the finished kit I now really want one as well. I think I am also going to need another bookcase for my home office for more space for RC cars at this rate as well :-)
I like it very much Glenn my only feeling was if instead of the neon yellow if it could have been done with the avante Orange of the wheels from the original I think that would have been better for the original avante die hard's just my opinion other wise great job you done Glenn
That's not what I was expecting livery wise but I love it, the turbofan rim covers are just the cherry on top. Overall I think it turned out fantastic but a pity about the wires, hopefully finding a good route isn't too much of a pain ;)

I like it better with more blue makes it look more like a Avante!
Excellent thanks buddy 🤩👊🏻
I have to admit I'm not a fan of the wheel shrouds, I think they look a bit tacky to be honest. The rest of the car... wow! Amazing job and vision to do that so massive props to you. Love it.
Excellent thanks for watching and leaving your feedback Chris, very much appreciated my friend 😊👊🏻
I think it turned out really nice, the colors work really well, and the modifications make it look quite unique. The front wing perhaps isnt my favorite, but it does add some flavor to the car. :D
Its fun seeing all the color combos people come up with for this RC car. :D
Excellent thanks for watching and leaving a comment my friend, it’s always nice for me to read through these after a build like this 🤩👊🏻
Hey Glenn, you just made yourself a good-looking ‘88 Super Avante!
Excellent that’s great feedback my friend and definitely food for thought 😊👊🏻
Love it. You're right certainly an eye full. Growing on me.
Excellent it took me 24hrs to get use to it lol 😂
I was only going to get the td2 but seeing how your td4 looks I’m ordering the td4 too. Your design somehow makes the td4 look slimmer than others I’ve seen, nice 👍
Oh that’s awesome Peter, thanks so much for watching and commenting my friend 😊👊🏻
Excellent thanks for your feedback Phillip 🤩👊🏻
That's not what I was expecting livery wise but I love it, the turbofan rim covers are just the cherry on top.
Overall I think it turned out fantastic but a pity about the wires, hopefully finding a good route isn't too much of a pain ;)
Excellent I’m glad you like it Aaron, thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment my friend 🤩👊🏻
@@TAMIYALegends No problem, thank you for continuing to make content :)
