Weird but delicious pizza tips - all of them need a really thinly rolled out dough, basically different versions of a "Tarte Flambee":
    1. Mix creme fraiche with a little bit of salt. Top with onions, goat cheese slices and rosmary. Drizzle with honey when it's done.
    2. Make a sauce with creme fraiche, garlic, olive oil (and a little bit of chili poweder). Top with chicken, onions and cheese.
    3. Sour cream topped with onions and thinly sliced bacon (which is the original recipe)

I like crispy-on-outisde, soft-inside crust (I make my own) and have learned the trick is to pre-bake the crust for about 10-15min (first poke holes, brush the whole thing with olive oil, sprinkle the edges with garlic salt and Italian seasoning). Makes for such a perfect crust and keeps the toppings from overcooking.

Christine your dishes look all delicious I want you to make an Irish stew , the way my family have always made it , obviously lots of potato, lamb , onion a few carrots , a few mushrooms, parsnip and my family puts in a little bit of garlic dont think thats authentic but it made its way here . We sear the meat first then put it aside the fry the carrots , use a little red wine to de glaze. Add carrots after removing then onions , after they looked precooked add the mushrooms and potatoes . Add a mixture of herbs . I use mixed herbs because thats what we mainly have . We add a bit of gravy and salt . Most Irish families we just add what is leftover into a pot and call it a stew so there is no specific recipe

The pasta fagioli my grandmom used to make was very simple. 2 onions sliced in circles, sautéed in lots of butter add 2 cans of canelllini beans with juice and in separate pot cook Ditalini pasta per instructions on box. Throw pasta In with beans. I usually top it with locatelli cheese(Romano cheese.) So simple but so good. And brings me right back to my childhood. Love your hair!! So pretty!!

Make and freeze pizza sauce in ziploc bags in portions needed to make the number of pizzas you need for your family. Crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, sautéed onions and salt and pepper. It’s cheap and I can make a ton (enough for 16 pizzas at time for So little). Then I just thaw pizza sauce and make dough the day we want it.

That soup looks great. That skillet pasta dish was called slumgullion in our family. Some kinda meat, some sort of tomatoes, some sort of pasta, onions, garlic, (pureed veggies that my husband & son never knew about), & some sort of cheese. There is always some combination of those items in our house/garden/pantry/freezer (great use for ground venison which seemed to reproduce in the back of our freezer). Filling & flavorful & comforting. Perfect dish when someone comes over unexpectedly (remember when that could happen?). It's pretty easy to segment out, for gluten free or vegetarian folks. Just pull their portion into another pan before adding the pasta/meat/whatever.

Nice. If you like spicy and end up with lots of jalapeño from the garden; try and make cowboy candy (google from the ball canning cookbook). You can use your pasta pot as a water bath canner. So good. Leave seed in for added spice. The husband loves this on a boring old turkey sandwich or a salad wrap. Keep up the good work.

Here's my recipe for Pasta e Fagioli:
    EVOO
    1 medium onion, chopped
3 stalks or so of celery, chopped, plus any celery leaves, chopped
2 medium carrots, cut in quarter dice
a few shakes red pepper flakes
    s & p
    1 T garlic
    1 or 2 t veg stock concentrate
    water
    1 small bay leaf
    Italian seasoning
    smoked paprika
1 24 to 25 oz. jar pasta sauce (I have used Tomato Basil sauce and Mushroom Tomato sauce.)
2 15 oz. cans canellini beans, rinsed and drained
6 oz. bag baby spinach, roughly chopped
    some chopped parsley
1 large Tablespoonful of nutritional yeast
1 lb. ditalini pasta, cooked 1 min. less than pkg. directions and pasta water reserved
In a flat bottomed wok, saute onion in generous amount of EVOO with s & p and red pepper flakes.
Add celery. Add carrot. Saute until tender or even browned.
Saute garlic. Add Italian seasoning, bay leaf, and smoked paprika and stir all together.
Add pasta sauce and cook a while.
Add beans and some water, stirring to combine.
When beans have softened a bit, add spinach and parsley and veg stock concentrate, stirring to combine.
Add some of the pasta water to thin the tomato based soup. Add nutritional yeast.
Serve some pasta and tomato based soup in a large bowl and stir to combine. Top with more freshly ground black and nutritional yeast. Serve with bread, if possible.

Pasta e fagioli (which my phone decided to autocorrect to fangirling?) was one of my favorites growing up! My mom always served it with a drizzle of olive oil and some parmesan. So delicious!

Love the new do!! You’re always beautiful, but this suits you so well!
The pizzas reminded me of how much fun we used to have as a family making them and laughing when everyone chose one ingredient or topping and we all had to try it.
I feel like you’ve been watching me stare into the abyss of my cabinets (tiny apartment/no true pantry). I spend more time looking blankly at my items just waiting for something to jump out and say “ooh me!! I know what sounds good” lol
Great video as always, I am going to have to look into the thrive market stuff. Everything sounds good.

Pesto pizza is fantastic! Our local Blackjack Pizza makes a Pesto Chicken Pizza, which has chicken, pesto, red onion, roma tomato and mozzarella cheese. My favorite!

I loved all the transitions in the pantry portion! It seems you’re having a lot of fun with your editing lately. Also, it’s never awkward :P but I thoroughly enjoy your “awkward” endings you throw in. Another great video

You should try putting the cheese on top of the pizza sauce, and then add the rest of the ingredients on top of that, that's how they do it in pizzerias 😊
