First time comment. I enjoy your vlogs. On the J44 bomb pot I got a chance to see your betting speed. You called the $25 bet very quickly. As you probably know, betting pace can be a tell. I hope you will Consider thinking about every fold, bet, call and adding a pause to your game that won’t give off any tells. Just a nickel tip from a worse player. Good luck at the tables.
Awesome. Seven Mile is my go to casino. I live 5 minutes from there. I'll keep an eye for you. I'm a graveyard player though. That's the best time to play there in my opinion.
It drives me crazy when a loose player is dumping $ and I can’t make a hand against them. Another great vlog, Doug! Safe travels to San Diego. Happy Birthday 🎂 Zeus!!
Doug: I view your blog every week with enjoyment. I know the huge amount of work that goes into editing such a body of work and applaud you. I have also commented before and you have responded nicely. In your intro you prominently show "The Course" one of the books I also recommend to players trying to get better at low stakes. I only recommend improving to friends, lol. I wish to suggest to you that you may want to pull it out and review skills one and two. That seems to be where your play causes less than stellar results. Obviously I am basing this on hands that you show and not on your overall play which seems to be profitable. Regards
Rainbow boards are often good candidates for bluffing by good players. It’s something I started adding to my game after I saw it was profitable against most players.
Great stuff. The KQ hand where you raised 20 pre 3 calls, flop A/Q/x you say “I don’t think any of them have an ace” and bet and win. Is this based live reads or do you think their range doesnt have many Aces? Just trying to improve my play. The Q/7 was epic.
Evening poker people, hope youre all good, regards from chemo man, lol, in the UK, nice vlog Doug!!! small tip , try and avoid cancer, its easier without this shit, haha, anyway, im ok, tired and cheesesd off but hey ho, cheers
on the 10/10 hand where he bluffed with 5/4c, you had no idea about his game, BUT, what do you think his view of YOU was? that would seem to be the most relevant criteria if you were going to go with your hand at that stage......a fold is fir sure called for sincew after 1/2 hour, neither of you had a read on the other.
I wouldn’t have x/r. Villain seemed weak and idk what x/r accomplishes. While watching, when he bet 30 it felt like a probe with second pair. Why not go into check call mode? Easy for me to say watching from home, just my two cents.
I don’t like the way you played the KT hand on flop, turn or river. I would have been far more aggressive on the flop. I either like a donk bet with this specific table dynamic (hoping the tilting player will raise you with practically all of his range) or a c/r to $100 after he bets $30. I wouldn’t be so focused on trying to bring other players in because with a big card board like this they’re not overcalling any amount unless it actually hit their holding. Yes it might fold out his total bluffs but I don’t know that he’d bet $30 into 3 players without a piece of the flop, and the way he’s playing, as long as he has a piece I think you have a good chance at a snap call. Really don’t like checking in the dark generally and especially on the turn here when you should be trying to play for stacks. I like a small bet on the river to get a crying call from weak aces. He can still raise a small bet as a bluff.
Not a huge fan of that kt hand. There’s so many two pair combos opponents can have also people with suited back doors and gutters that will call off a raise on the flip specially in a loose splash game like you’re playing in

What a gift of a game. People play like it’s 2008!
Games have been ultra crazy lately.
I don't know who sings the introductory song for your videos, but I really like it.
Amy Lynn and the Honey Men. Emotional Mess.
Worst song in the history of music......poker players don't listen to this kind of music.

Headed there Wednesday night, will probably play both. Start in 2/3, move to 5/5 if game looks good. I’m easy to spot if I’m standing up.
