First time I ever played in a casino (3/6 limit) I made quads 2 hands in a row and flopped a set on the next hand. Made more on the 3rd hand because it was a kill pot.
Man I just took a big, nasty and smelly one after eating Taco Bell, White Castle and Long John Silvers all in one day while watching this video. Great start to the morning and great content my dude. Well done!!!
You ran well and played well. I haven't ran like that in so long I forgot what it was like. I'm continually in the spot where I'm a 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 favorite, I know my opponent wont fold, so I get it in. I'm winning more than I'm losing, but variance is taking a big chunk of my profit. Happy for your two great sessions. Also, I have flopped quads and lost twice. Both happened online before Black Friday April 2011. One on FT and one on Stars.
@@dougmccuskerpoker Not that I'm running super bad, had 7 winning sessions in a row now. It's just they would have been much bigger winning sessions if it wasn't for variance. But any winning session is better than a losing one.
I am surprised with the pocket nines hand, that the two players with AK didn't repop you, before the flop. You probably would have called at least one bet preflop. Great couple of sessions.
Can’t make next Sunday, but I’m gonna figure out a way to visit this year. Looking forward to meeting you. Any good restaurants you and your wife like to eat at?
I was the villain a few nights ago because I had flopped top set on a draw heavy board, turn gave me top boat but gave him quads 😂. I thought that stuff happened in only plo.
Serious question here, i have always wondered while I’m watching poker vlogs…. While filming, how do you peel your cards without the people next to you seeing your hole cards on your phone screen? Is it a serious concern? How do you protect them? Thanks
I always try to sit on the end of the table, I also darken my screen so it’s hard to see. When I show the camera my hole cards, my body blocks the view. The rest of the time my cards are not visible.
@@dougmccuskerpoker he May remember me from frequently commenting on his vlog. Tell him I wish him well and that he’s missed please. Everyone liked him. He’s obviously a good poker player but we all watched because we like him personally.
Still waiting for you to hit the 2-5$ games always nice when I get the alert you've posted a new video
It will happen

First time I went to a casino I played blackjack and had 11 blackjacks in a row...
My very first hand playing holdem, I was delt AA and won. 2nd hand was KK and I won. Thought this is easy, then lost all my money. Lol
Beginners luck

I like the new intro music..... it is soothing as heck
I love it, perfect for the vlog.
I loved the set of goals! Haha good job Doug 🎉
Thanks Cindy 😀
Zeus! 😍
Nice run Doug!! I will always enjoy your Vlog!!
Caught a lot of cards, poker is easy when that happens.

Everything went well, the game is easy when the cards run over you.
Awesomeness great to watch another amazing stream! Thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it. Always appreciate seeing you in the comments.
Always enjoyable! 👍
Thanks again! Appreciate the support
Great stuff! Your vlogs are consistently excellent Doug!
I appreciate that! I love getting a Pat on the back for all my efforts 😀
Good one. I've limited my poker vlogs to: yours, Mariano, Deach and HCL. Keep them coming.
Wow, that’s a great lineup you have there, pleased to be a part of it.
Came all the way from NY to call 8x raises with A4o 😂😂😂 he probably just wanted to give you some action and have some fun. Nice 2 day session!
The player from NY turned the flush, A4 player is a Sacramento player.
Great Vlog 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Gonna miss your meetup game, family stuff that day but good luck out there!
You will be missed, family first, always!
9,8s I like your call on flop vs a loose cannon. Smelled like 2 overcards to me too with the read you had on his player type.
He is highly likely to triple barrel, if I felt he might surrender on the river, I would raise turn.
You ran well and played well.

Nice vlog Doug, hope all is well, best regards from over the "Pond"!!
Thanks Fraser, we are having a very wet winter here, drought is over. More allergies here we come. Lol
Meet up game 😍😍😍
Come on down
Great run Doug 🏃♀️
Thanks 👍. Caught a lot of good cards.
Great vlog as usual. Best of luck
Thank you! You too!
Flopped quads at a home game with my kids lol. Too bad it wasn't for cash at a casino. Nice 2 day profit!
Most times you flop quads, you don’t get action. Did the kids pay you off?
Amazing run Doug, great play and reads on both days💯👍
Thanks, I ran well, it’s easy to play well when the deck hits you.
One session a few years ago, table had quads 9 times in about 12 hours. Including one guy who got quads back to back hands with pocket 66’s both hands
Wow, that’s crazy
Great run!
Thanks Kenny, hope you can make it to the MUG.

Yeah, I would raise with AK. I guess the two players are a little more conservative.
$25 called off multiway oop with A4 off. No wonder you love the 1/3 at capitol :)
Plenty of loose action at Capitol.
I hope to see you on the 26th
Awesome, I’m the tall one. Lol
new sub!
Thanks Chris! Welcome aboard

There is a very good Italian restaurant near us, highly recommended 😀.

Happens more often than you think, I’ve seen some crazy stuff in the last 30+ years.

He is in the #3 seat, would be pretty hard for the #2 or #4 to see his cards from their angle.
I always try to sit on the end of the table, I also darken my screen so it’s hard to see. When I show the camera my hole cards, my body blocks the view. The rest of the time my cards are not visible.

blockers dont matter, range advantage doesn't latter, and GTO is stupid.
I would say everything matters, just at different levels of importance.
11:46 why do you think you're ahead? (98s) on turn.
.
Hard to believe two things:
1) this guy 3-barrelled LIGHT with air.
2) You read him that easily
On that aces hand I see that you guys chopped it when his kicker didn’t even play, why is that?
J on the river paired the board, both of us made AAAJJ. We were lucky because the other player had a flush already.
@16:15 if he goes all in no one calls unless its you. You're going to call since you're last to act. He played it perfect, you just got lucky.
I am a lucky guy ☘️
Hey Doug; The title of the video and the image for the video don't match up.
I find it slightly jarring.
Yeah, I do that occasionally so it will be a surprise.
@@dougmccuskerpoker But when you write flopping quads i'm expecting it; kinda hard to be surprised when you're expecting something.
