I knew there was a good reason to be late to work today. Guess I'll relax for a bit longer. Enjoy my coffee and a ricefarmingtv video. Cant paint in the rain anyways.
So this series is pre-seeding the seeding of the fields... ahhh... fields are sure looking nice and great tractor work.. vroom, shit, vroom, shift, vroom, shift... sure is shifty work... Thanks for the updates😏
We used to plow the stubble under in the fall to help with furrow irrigation and weed control. Sometimes we made rocks that would resist breaking into soil. Today we strip till about 7" deep under the later planted corn or cotton. The ammonia and 10-34-00 gives a concentrated zone for a good start. The stalks conserve moisture and protect the young plants from the wind. I don't miss all that tractor work. Our soil water holding capacity is 3.5" per foot so loosing that hydroscopic moisture and replacing it is expensive.
Just curious, have ya'll had any issues with the after treatment systems on those newer tractors? These newer trucks that we have give us lots of problems. Have a great day man.
What is the total of acres you plant in rice? In my are we have a lot of clay in the soil. We have to run a disk if we don't us a tiller. We use to do about 100 acres not no more. We use to grow hay, wheat, corn, and soy bean.
You appear to be getting more comfortable with this, and your production values are definitely getting much better.. well maybe the sound not so much 🙄😬😂
Nice sound effects today Matthew! Do you suppose there is some way for Case to design a muffler with those same sound effects and send a test version up to that Welker Family operation? -Bob...
awesome video bro if you wanna catch that coyote you got to get some food or some crawfish lol. You guys keep up the good work out there man love the videos. Best of luck on is the rice crop maybe you will get a good yelled at the end.
Steve, great question! DEF stand for Diesel Exhaust Fluid and it is a liquid used to reduce the amount of air pollution created by a diesel engine. Specifically, DEF is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. -M.
Mootan Applesauce Ha! I figured sitting in the seat and explaining to close the door would cover it. But you’re right. Can’t assume anything with people these days.
Banker's hours! Lol. We always kept plowing until it got too dark to see. Back then we didn't have lights on the tractors.

May I know what is depth fluid, is it diesel, and if it is why call it depth fluid?
How's your corn crop growing
I’ll be giving an official update soon. But right now-no sign of the plants popping out of the ground.
-M.
What is depth fluid? Use?
Do you have many issues with the emissions components on these tractors?
The tractors are getting fuel and what kind of fluid? Explain please.

It's not DEF. its Government Juice!

-M.
Hey, I don't know if you know this; but your windows are a bit dirty......
Yeah, the intermittent sprinkles really collect dust. But I need to not be in a rush to get started and take the time to clean them. You’re right.
-M.
@@Ricefarmingtv I was just joshing you...LOL. As always, entertaining!
Never get out of the tractor, never, unless you want to get attacked by a tiger.
The horror the horror
Is your corn up
Not yet, Bill! But I haven’t looked in the last couple of days. I’ll check today.
-M.
At 00:18 you forgot the step to get in the tractor, sooo you failed how to be isolated.🤷♂️🤷♂️
Mootan Applesauce Ha! I figured sitting in the seat and explaining to close the door would cover it. But you’re right. Can’t assume anything with people these days.
Ok good isolation but I’m not so sure about pulling your gloves with your teeth. Seems like your defeating the hole keep the bad 🦠 away 🤔
Totally. They were just props though. Had a handful in my coat pocket.
-M.
Don’t you mean SUPPER?
Hey Lance, I like to mis it up a bit between supper and dinner. Keep viewers on their toes.
