👉 Did you always wanna go to Germany but didn't wanna go by yourself or simply didn't know where to go exactly? Then come travel to Germany with me this summer, together with a local guide and a whole group of like-minded people! 🎉
On this 11-day trip, we’ll explore my beautiful hometown of Munich and visit King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein before we head to northern Bavaria to explore the medieval history of Nuremberg and its world-famous food, including Lebkuchen (gingerbread) and Bratwurst.
Then, we’ll let Rothenburg ob der Tauber enchant us with its half-timbered houses and cobblestone allies before we make our way to Heidelberg for its famous castle and breathtaking views. Our last stop will be Germany’s vibrant capital of Berlin, where we’ll see the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, learn about the city’s unique history, and those who want to can explore the infamous nightlife! 🕺💃 This trip will have everything, from stunning landscapes and magical castles to buzzing cities and German cuisine - including beer of course! I can’t wait to meet you guys in person and show you my beautiful home country of Germany this summer! 😊

ABOUT ME: Hallo, Servus, and welcome to my channel! My name is Felicia (Feli), I'm 30 years old, and I'm a German living in the USA! I was born and raised in Munich, Germany but have been living in Cincinnati, Ohio off and on since 2016. I first came here for an exchange semester during my undergrad at LMU Munich, then I returned for an internship, and then I got my master's degree in Cincinnati. I was lucky enough to win the Green Card lottery and have been a permanent resident since 2019! In my videos, I talk about cultural differences between America and Germany, things I like and dislike about living here, and other topics I come across in my everyday life in the States. Let me know what YOU would like to hear about in the comments below. DANKE :)
UPDATE: The trip sold out in under an hour which is WILD 🤯 But some of the bookings came in twice so we just opened the booking back up for a few more spots! 👉prime.joinmytrip.com/product/munich-to-berlin-with-feli-from-germany
If you'd like to come and didn't get in anymore, just email me at felifromgermany@gmail.com with the subject WAITLIST and I'll add you to the waitlist. 😊😊I can't wait to travel with you guys this summer! 🥳
5:39 *You should at least be 18 years old!
Why is the price so high?
Feli, if you want Bratwurst (probably the best in Ohio, if not all the USA) you need to come up to Bucyrus & eat at Carle's. They've been in business for over 100 years & making Bratwurst far longer. Also the Bratwurst Festival is the 3rd weekend in August, every year.
My God I wish I had $3500+ to spare... I've never really been anywhere and a visit to a country that's guided by a native UA-camr who I've been watching for a while and absolutely love would be a dream trip. Maybe someday.
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fu It's about 318$ / day. That isn't that high if you consider the hotel costs for 4-5 star hotels (several times including dinner and not only breakfast). The tours, trainrides, busrides, guide, entrance fees etc. cost as well. So it sounds much at first but for a well organsied tour for only 20 people it is an ok price. If you go alone you could have it much cheaper (especially if you stay at hostels) but you would have to put a lot of work into planning the trip and booking all the hotels + activities.
@@chrissiesbuchcocktailYes, that price is not bad at all.
Ah. Where were you when I was 25. I’m pushing 80 but really enjoy your perspective of America and Germany.
I’ve traveled the world and love your enthusiasm for life!
I agree!😊
OMG!!! Good luck with that!!! As an American soldier, and a 4 year German language student, I was stationed in Nurnberg for 3 years, and in Heidelberg for 4 years. I would dearly love to return one more time, and show my wife and daughter, where I truly grew up, after high school. Viel gluck, und tchuss!
I will indeed go to Germany this summer, probably several times, but I am very happy to go on my own. Being introvert, it suits me much better. I hike the country, Germany is a hiker's paradise. This year I will at least hike the romantic Rhine between Wiesbaden and Bonn.
Last year I hiked through Rotenburg odT and also the lovely cities of Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen close by - as well as a lot of other enchanting places!
If you can take a river cruise at the Rhine in Bonn. You can take a trip of one or two hours, look around the city there and hop on back on the boat to get you back to Bonn. As a native I can truly recommend. :)
@@DreamingRealist A very good tip that readers of the comments will be happy about! - if you like people and company. I am happiest on my own. Walking and slowly taking in the scenery of the country is bliss to me, just me, the trail and the sky is all I need! Well, and a restaurant here and there, some public transport to get back to the starting point and some people to talk to when I feel like it, but those are details.... ;-)
@@christopherx7428 I get you so much. Honestly, I´m the same, even though barely anyone understands.
I’ll be hiking the rhine from sea to source hopefully leaving the end of the month or the start of next month. I’m the same love being alone. But this trip is to meet new friends and see the beautiful Germany
I’ll be hiking the rhine from sea to source hopefully leaving the end of the month or the start of next month. I’m the same love being alone. But this trip is to meet new friends and see the beautiful Germany
Wife and I just returned last week from 11 day visit to the Schwarzwald visiting family. We had a wonderful time as always. We Love Germany ❤❤❤❤
Germany is the best and the most beautiful country ever
Man, I wish I could. I bet you're the best tour guide ever, Feli! I really appreciate all your videos and the enjoyment and education you've given me. :-)
5 citys at 1 country in 11 days is great! Normaly tourists(most us-americans) do 5 COUNTRYS (or more) in 11 days! It looks verry balanced and not rushed! Wish all who can go on this trip a great time! Im from Vienna and know all this places well!
Thanks Feli. I am going this summer to visit a German friend in a small town near Bremen that visited me in Ohio last year (Yep, Ohio not from you guys). I have never been to Deutschland or any of Europe, so, I am excited to visit Berlin, Bremen & Hamburg! Your videos are helping me understand the culture, not offend anyone and learn the language some. Danke schön und wie werden sehen wie die Reise verläuft. Thankfully, I have my German bro to help me!
It’s nice how you mention both Wurzburg & Heidelberg. Until July 2006, Wurzburg was the Division Headquarters for the US Army’s 1st Infantry Division, or “Big Red One” (like the movie with Mark Hamill). Also Heidelberg was the US Army headquarters for V Corps (5th Corps) before deactivating. I’ve been fortunate to have visited both cities. Very beautiful and a lot of history there. 😃🇺🇸👍🏾🇩🇪
LIVE IN PEACE!
YOU SHOULD NEVER COME THE TO GERMANY AGAIN!

I wonder what life would have been if I’d stayed in München.
I’ve been to those places when I was young, in early 1970s. It was so cheap to travel then. Backpacked and hitchhiked. Flew over each time on student stand-by airfare. Had Youth Hostel pass, also & stayed there sometimes.
The USSR was going and the Berlin Wall was still up. Never thought I’d see that Wall come down…wow.😊
Hope you all have a good & safe trip. 💙💙
In 1986 my girlfriend and I did a 5 week trip to Europe including what was then Yugoslavia for just under $25 a day per person including air, and car rental. We covered, The Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Yugoslavia, Monaco, France and Belgium.
A great trip!
@@barryhaley7430 Awesome! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. 😊
@@CatCmdr On $25 per person per day! We used a travel book “Europe on $25 A Day”. And that was staying in hotels and bed & breakfasts, not hostels or camping.
I wonder what the book title would be today?
The train ride to Berlin by itself will be amazing. Traveling through Germany by train is a whole different experience than anywhere else. Would be interesting to see Berlin again. It was still divided the last time I visited.
I'm from Heidelberg! This tour sounds great. Have fun everyone!!!
Feli, you should meet with the Easy German team while in Berlin. That would be fun. 😊
This time you’re coming to our adopted hometown of Nürnberg, lovely! Would love to greet you guys when you swing through.
Lovely itinerary. No one should listen to the Berlin haters here: not nice to pit one city against another. Berlin is a great place to visit, loaded with history and culture, and it’s a unique destination in the German speaking world.
im exited for you i love your vids have an awesome trip! ❤
I'm going to Germany in 2026! Christmas markets. France first with Paris, Strasbourg, and Colmar. Then on to Cologne and Frankfurt.
sacre vache! J'espere vous-avait un bon temp. :)
Sounds great. We're going to Cologne and Bonn next month. We love Germany and have been several times. We're lucky that we can go on the train (Eurostar from London to Brussels). Much nicer than flying. Hope everyone who goes has a great time.😊
You visited very beautiful unknown cities in France (Colmar and Strasbourg)👍👍 And the good thing is, you get to know two countries
Christmas 2026? That's in 2 1/2 years. And you already planned a trip? 😅
My favorite part of this video, oddly, was the quick translation from American fingers for “three days” into German fingers for three days.
I wondered how many takes that took... 😁
It's a sleight of hand called "The Bridget von Hammersmark".
Sounds incredible! Wish I could go. Enjoy!!
I’m in. Love Munich and glad to see more of Germany. 🎉. Thank you, Feli.
This looks incredible
So tempting! It's been years since I visited Munich.
That sounds like an amazing trip, Feli! Wish I had the time to make it.
Going in Sept with my daughter. This is the 50th anniversary that I last lived there.
Your trip will be awesome. Thanks for sharing your life.
Ooh this is really tempting! I will be in Scotland in June
Hi Feli
Amazing job with your videos. Im a servicemember getting ready to move to Bavaria. Im super excited and greatful as well to give my kids this opportunity to experience a new culture. We will be living in a small village so we will be living the full Bavarian lifestyle for the next few years. We wont be too far from Nuremberg so hopefully we can see the crew when u guys swing by😊
This is a great idea. Good for you Feli. I would love to go.
I'm in! I spent 2 weeks in Germany in 2013 and had the absolute time of my life!
I hope you'll have another trip next year. I need more time to prepare. Danke.
I will be visiting my Onkel bei Aschaffenburg for his 80th Birthday between June 1 and July 13th. Too bad I will miss you all. I love your show. Have a great time. 🫶
I’m an army brat and my dad met the love of his life in Germany. They were married for 65 years.
We are neighbors, I live in Michigan.
Nice! I think I'm finally going to be traveling to Germany this summer.
This seems like a fantastic opportunity. Can't go this year but I really hope that the trip is successful enough to motivate Feli to keep doing it in future years.
As a regular traveller to Deutchland, this has given a couple of new places to visit, have a great time!
I think this trip sounds wonderful and I will definitely be on my computer tomorrow in time and can hopefully get one of these 20 spots!!! Thank you so much for putting this trip together!!!
Defiinitel a good choice of destinations. Being around Franconia, maybe Bamberg could have been another nice option... but beside that, sounds like a quite nice tour. :)
Good luck, Feli & Ben! Gute Reise!
Ah Heidelberg, now that brings back memories of my trip thur there with the People to People Student Ambassador Program back in 2011. Fun times. Wish I could go back.
I wish I could go. Sounds like fun exploring areas where MY roots came from.
Sounds great! But can't make it this year but if you do it again next year with especially Bavaria, Neufschwistein and Alsace(maybe next time?) Anyway, have a blast on this trip. Looking forward to going. These place are on my bucket list for sure! Thank you Feli
Hi Feli. I actually live in Nürnberg with my German partner. I'm a kiwi who has moved to Germany and I have always been a fan of your videos as I can relate to them. If it is at all possible, I would love to meet up with you and the group when you're in Nürnberg. Understandable if that's not possible however. I get how anstrengend it must be to organise and juggle everything.
I’m already planning a trip to Europe this summer… might have to consider doing this instead of my other plans!
We've been to all those places. All well worth seeing.
Sounds like fun! Enjoy & stay safe❤from 🇨🇦
I was fortunate to be in Germany on my own in 1987, when still separate countries (East and West, including Berlin), in June 1990 when unifying and May 2000. i used my Frommers guide books, get local info, used a German train pass, had a lot of good beer, saw a lot of good art, did a lot of walking and really enjoyed it.
What a great idea! Wish I could come but that’s a lot of travelling… 😅 I wish you all a wonderful time together!! 🇩🇪
Fellow traveler here from Cincinnati. I’ve done some other group trips and they have been awesome! Keeping yours in mind!

a century of "Doris Day"
Doris Kappelhoff was born in Zinzinatti (Ohio) on 3rd April 1924!
She has origins in Westphalia (Germany).
Her stage name was "Doris Day".
Do you no more about Doris?
I LOVE Rothenberg!!! The nightwatchmans tour is amazing!
Agree!
I really want to go but can’t this year. I hope you’ll continue to do these. I definitely want to go in the future!
I was excited to see this tour offering as we love to travel. After watching this video we've seen all of it except Neuschwanstein and in just the past few years. Oh, well.
Sounds like a great tour I wish I could go.
I'm going to Germany next week! Wish me luck.
A great tour!
Went to Germany in 2018, October! Berlin it was very fun
Ich bin einmal Segway in S.F. gefahren mit Kommilitonen und kann bestätigen es war absolut kinderleicht.
Found you in the last week and have been binging on your content ever since , love it. My wife and I lived in Germany for a couple of years, Mönchengladbach, also Brussels, Belgium. So we found a lot of what you say relatable. Keep up the great work. Subscribed. Cheers from the UK.
Sorrry can’t make the trip this year but.been to Germany several times and the tour looks exciting. We loved the Night Watchman Tour.
Berlin's great and an excellent base for day-trips to Sachsenhausen and Potsdam. Great transit and lots of fascinating history.
I can’t wait to go
Wish I could, maybe next year. thanks for the invite, I know you would be making the trip even more interesting! I've always admired the old world architecture of Bavaria!
Sounds like a great trip Feli. Unfortunately, I've already booked a bucket list trip for this fall to New England and two trips this year won't fit in my budget.
Maybe next summer??😊
You guys will enjoy Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I did a volksmarch there when I lived in Ansbach.
Great video
Great trip. I have visited most of the destinations when I was in my 20s. I certainly recommended this trip. Kiemsee is one of the other Ludwig Wittelsbach castles.
Feli, Du bist ein echtes Multi-Talent! :)
How I WISH I could go back to Germany. I was stationed in Schwaebisch Gmund in the 80s.
Take your chance and go with Feli!

I wish I could! I've been to Munich in 2016 and love it, and Berlin in 2007. Never did see the Neuschwanstein castle though. This definitely sounds like a lot of fun
Maybe I'll do this one year. Can't afford it this year. But it really looks and sounds like fun. Maybe in a few years I'll join you
Looks like fun
I already have a trip scheduled this year starting in a couple of weeks going to Latvia and Kazakhstan. If you ever decide to take a group up north to Bremen, Bremerhaven, and Hamburg, I'll be there! I was stationed in Bremerhaven for three years in the early 80s.
NEVER COME TO GERMANY AGAIN!

I went on the same trip with my family! My dads from Munich more by Riem. I was taken away by Salzburg as well as their restaurants! Can’t wait to go back
I have no doubt that it will be an amazing trip but yeah the fall or the spring works out better for me when it comes to traveling in Europe I just have too much going on in the summer but you know there's always next year all right so I'll still keep on following you
I so wish I could go. Love Feli's channel and would love to go to Germany, my Dad's country.
What a wonderful thing to
I first went to Nürnberg just a couple of years ago; I found it really interesting, both the older historic aspect and the more recent history. Some pretty steep hills there, especially on the way up to the Nürnberger Burg, so comfortable shoes for walking an absolute necessity!
Nuernberg (to a certain degree also Regensburg etc.) was a major art and artisan/pre-industrial hub in medieval times (Holy Roman Empire). When Gutenberg invented the flexible printing press then one reason why it was sucessfull (in difference to China) was not just that and that the latin alphabet fits much better for such inventions than chinese icons (they failed at that time) but also because 'modern paper' AND 'industrial production' for it was invented (which China both also not had). The old way to create paper (mix of animal skin and plants) was much more expensive - not for masses! Nuernberg had - understanding the modern time - added a series of over 30 mills as 'paper mass production' and had a huge success with that (sold throughout Europe. and lets not forget that the Holy Roman Empire connected all relevant hubs from Northern Italy to the Northern cities (also Belgium (Genth, Brugge) and the Netherlands were long part of the HRE) as well as still the Hanseatic League Trade structures mattered ...
I was getting excited! Because I’m actually traveling to Germany but my flight back to the States, is on July 15th. If I only knew.
Had it been 6 days or so I would have signed up in a heartbeat.
Great video! Wish I could go. It sounds so amazing. Is Wolfsburg an amazing city? I definitely want to go explore the Vw plant and go check out a Grizzly Adam game.
Cool stuff 👌🏻. I’m hoping to do a road trip from UK to Munich in the summer, in my classic BMW E30
wow, what an awesome trip. hubby and i plan to go next year but to the north particular Hannover, my home town. and maybe a trip to Sweden. we need to see the ABBA museum.
Looks like a wonderful trip. Have you been to Bamburg? My favorite city and I love the smoked beer. Prost!
Bamburg?
@@christianschoerner2188 I can well imagine that for a non native speaker, "Burg" and "Berg" are hard to distinguish! If you are not aware that it has completely different meanings and is a word on its own, and since it sounds very alike when pronounced with an American accent, I would never judge someone for saying Bamburg instead of the correct Bamberg! So why are you mentioning it without explanations? Are you just here for trolling?
Looks like a heck of a trip! It's been a long time for most of them, but I believe I've been everywhere you're going, even the places you haven't! Just know that depending on the group, you'll never get them out of Käthe-Wohlfahrt in Rothenberg...
Not without a few decorations at least;)
As a young boy in 1963, my father who was in the U.S. Army, he was stationed on a base in Straubing, maybe it was in the Mansfield Kaserne section of Straubing. My father met my mother after WW2 as a soldier in 1951 and they married on Oct. 4, 1952. My Mom's mother had a home in Heidelberg and I visited her with my Mom and Dad. I would love to see the home now and how it has changed. Germany amazed me even as a 6 and 7 year child and I will never forget the Straubing Army base which probably is no more, but maybe part remain. You would be the best tour guide one could ask for and to relive your childhood, and of course enjoy the great German Food like bratwurst with that brown mustard, and those delicious German tortes and marzipan & white chocolate. I do have cousins in Weinheim which is close to Heidelberg, and I will never forget the beautiful castle. The photos I have and even the caps my folks bought for me, are treasured memories. You only live once and man it would be such a wonderful time and who knows, stay there and just enjoy beautiful Germany that offers so much happiness which spells good health as well. I think you have given me the urge now to get in touch with my German cousins who visited me and my Mom in 1999. Before she passed away a few months after the visit by my cousin Karola and her husband Andreas with their children, my Mom appreciated them so much. God Bless you Feli for bringing beautiful Germany into our hearts♥Sincerely, Bill M., Uncasville, CT☺
Sounds like fun. Especially since my dad's side of the family is from Germany. We traced his family to the 16th century in Germany. I believe it was in 1543. Our name was Philips with one L back then but was changed to 2 Ls by the time the immigrated to the US in the 19th century. Phillips from Philips
Hopefully you will continue the trips. I've wanted to go to Germany for so long but I haven't had an opportunity and this year we can't go because of a family reunion at the end of June so getting time off and paying for a second trip this year are both out of the question, but it would be better to be with someone who I feel like I know from these videos, plus we used to live in Cincinnati.
Been a long time since I was in Berlin also. I was there a few months before the Wall went up, tourists were still allowed through the Brandenburg Gate. The differences between East and West were like that between night and day. Different worlds.
Good, but again you are in Bavaria/South and Berlin. You should visit the Western/Northern Part of Germany, too. The Cities of Cologne,Düsseldorf, Ruhr Area,Bremen,Hannover and Hamburg.
It's impossible to see all of Germany in just one trip 😅 I wanted to start this trip in Munich again because it's my home and only 24 people got to go on the last trip. I debated between going to Hamburg and Berlin at the end but chose Berlin because while Hamburg is definitely prettier, Berlin is just so interesting on so many different levels. Maybe next trip we'll make it to western Germany and the North 😊
@@FelifromGermany of course, it is. And it’s good, that you don’t rush through the country. „Europe in seven days 😃“
On our wish list: a video of the tour. Not everyone can go but it would be super helpful to have a guide to the major sights so people can go in the future or book their own trip. Due to time, financial and geographical constraints, not everything could be filmed, but the principal attractions could be shown. Whether people want to see other things not included on the tour would be up to them.
Oh wow! I would love to do this! I can’t do it this year due to health reasons, but I hope you go again. July is perfect too; that’s when the weather is perfect. $3500 is really good too! Can’t beat that. I used to spend more than that when I lived over there, and that was over thirty years ago! What a wonderful trip. I remember asking if you’d tour guide for me if I ever went back to Germany, and this would be the best option since I’d be traveling alone. I’ve been to Berlin twice, but I know if I ever went back, there would be no way to get back up there again easily. It was like a 12 hour train ride from Frankfurt, so going there was its own thing at the time.
I really hope you do more of these.
Hallo Feli,
dass ist ja eine super Tour! Traumhaft und beneidenswert. Ich wünsche einen tolle Tour. Ich war schon fast an allen Orten gewesen, wäre in meiner Jugend fast in Heidelberg hängen geblieben. Einfach wunderschöne Orte.
Liebe Grüße
Klaus aus Düsseldorf
OMG it's already sold out! LOL! Awesome! Please do this every year.
It's funny, I've only been to Germany twice, but I've been everywhere you'll be going on this trip except for Schloss Linderhof and Berlin. All fond memories.
If you ever do a trip that includes Würzburg, I might have to tag along for that. I couldn't resist the opportunity to stock up on wine from Staatlicher Hofkeller, lol.
It sounds awesome! Unfortunately I can't travel like that due to my disabilities, I need to take my time and rest a lot, but hopefully someday I'll be able to go and see many of those places in my own time. I also don't really have the money to travel right now after I went to Spain for 5 weeks this time last year.
Ya'll need to come to Stuttgart, which is a great city with lots to see and do
I wish I could this year - but if you are going in 2025 I'm in!!!!
My grandfather was from Udenheim
Oh darn! I guess I’ll have to wait until 2025 or unless you do a second trip later in 2024. Also have fun watching the first few days of the Olympics!
I lived in Germany for 3-years in my early 20's and some of the best experiences were not only the beer festivals but also the wine festivals like Wurstmarkt Bad Dürkheim. Most of your videos mention a lot about the beer, and of course, it's Germany and they're known for their beer, but they also make some tremendous wines. You should do a video about the wine festivals around Germany.
I'll keep my eyes open if I see you in Heidelberg.
My two favorite cities in Germany are Nuremberg and Bamberg. I wish I had the money. I was stationed in Bamberg
Great, I live in Nuremberg and visit Bamberg very often...where is you your location in US? I have visited Chicago very often!
An hour west of Chicago. In a city called DeKalb.
We are just visiting Germany right now. In Franconia, besides Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl was very nice too. Just made it to Thuringia. Spent some time in Saxonian Switzerland too, unfortunately the fires and beetles have affected a lot of the pine forest there especially on the Bohemian side.
Wish I could have afforded it and been able to book it, even though I have lived in northern Europe my entire life, the closest I've ever been to Germany was shen we went through the Kiel canal when I had a short apprentice-ship onboard a cargoship, I've always wanted to visit Germany and also I think metting you and Ben would be awesome! You seem like very nice and fun to be around people!
