- We used to fly from Guam to Calbayog City, Samar in about 7 hours. Now, due to flight scheduling changes, it takes a day and a half... and costs us an overnight stay in Manila. Our travel just got more expensive! #tropicshade

Really nice video. We drove right through your city... on the way down to Biliran, Leyte. and drove through it on the way home. Heritage is a nice hotel. very centrally located. Try the Hamburgers from Shake Shack at MOA. so good! ;-)

@@TropicShade $1158 economy class, Alaska air/Eva air 28hrs. Had to keep playing around with the dates to find it on skyscanner.
Back in February/March I noticed a wee dip in the prices of travel from Ireland to the Philippines, so I booked with China Airlines on a flight from Dublin to Cebu via schiphol Amsterdam and Taipei given the opportunity , for just over £1000. The relative cost however of travel from Cebu to Calbayog fluctuated like crazy. My fiance and son flew in from Calbayog to Cebu for a lot more than we expected. As for the flights for us all from Cebu back to Calbayog, we watched them hourly as they yo-yoed! 😂 Can't wait to go back in 2025, my fiance is in for a bit of a shock as she's coming to Ireland for a couple of months in November, better pack some extra layers😂
PAL Express always has inter-island specials... except on the Calbayog route! Your girl will be fine in Ireland... after you introduce her to good Irish Whiskey! lol
