    Thank you Tamar for sharing such valuable video. could you please write me the cross section dimension for frame + the aluminum thickness?

    I like your solution for the x axis helical gear tensioner. I was thinking of a pulley system but a planetary setup like yours looks more simple.

    Nice, do you use thc for Arcon thc plasma?

    the tension of the spring, how did you manage to trick it ?

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  27 днів тому

      @kingpixelftw1960 what do you mean by "trick it"?

      thc measures spring tension the laser uses a capacitive sensor how did you manage to make thc see a false voltage sorry google translate

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  27 днів тому

      @kingpixelftw1960 the thc measures the arc voltage.
      The capacitance sensor measures the distance between the laser nozzle to the work material (sheets or tubes).

    Which supplier do you buy extrusion from? I am looking for one but I am not sure which to go with

      @strider5402 I have a supplier from China.
      If you want his info contact me at my email- zeusgripss@gmail.com

    What laser is this? Can I use for Langmuir

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  27 днів тому

      @romoalex technically yes but I doubt that it will work well..

    Looks great!
    What laser is that?
    What’s the power output?
    And why did you pick it?

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  2 місяці тому

      Its a raycus rfl2000c (2kw)
      I pick it because it's suitable for the carbon steel thicknesses that I want to cut.

      @@TAMARbarCNC nice.
      What thickness can you cut and what feed rate?
      Do you use shielding gas?

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  2 місяці тому

      By the manufacturer it can cut up to 16mm.
      Regarding feed in not sure cause I haven't tried it.
      For cutting carbon steel i use oxygen.

    Hi first of all very nice design and ideas with you laser.
    I have questions:
    What linear rail are used in this project (X, Y and Z and on this anti backlash system idea? 20 or bigger?)
    What module of rack and pinion (what size, how much tooth and so on)
    What planetary gearboxes you use ? (can you share link to shop or where you order them ?)
    What kind of servos you use/using on this project ? (also link as above)
    Thanks for info
    Regards

      @TAMARbarCNC  27 днів тому

      @3TH0NET hgr20 rails for all axis.
      Hgr15 foe anti backlash system.
      Planetary reducer 1:10
      Helical gear rack 1.5 module with 20t spur gear.

    Good day
    How much power does the laser have?
    And how do you get such beautiful cuts in steel?
    Would you tell me the parameters and the gas?
    Thanks Stefan

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  2 місяці тому +1

      I'm using raycus 2kw laser source, it can cut up to 16mm mm carbon steel.
      Regarding the laser cutting parameters it's depends on the thickness you cut.

    Good evening, Tamar. I see that laser is getting better and better... I watch your videos with great interest. In the near future I would also like to try my hand at building a similar machine. Can you tell me what gear ratio you use for planetary gearboxes mounted on the axles? Hi, greetings Michele.

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  Місяць тому

      @pupinrimorchi5359 thanks.
      I'm using 1:5 ratio but 1:10 would be better
