The Lathe is so special. People seem to always describe a feeling of discovery when they speak about how their use of the lathe came about. Few, if any other tools/machines are described so often in this way. A beautiful presentation and discussion here. The range of work shown here is so interesting. I could agree more on the point that is made about how strong the combination of art and design is.

Super interesting. I now want to see tons more on this beautiful artist. His ornaments are as delicate as your own. I heard a mention of multi-axis turning somewhere in the video and this piqued my interest. Can you show us how a wood turner can use this kind of technique to create forms? I can only turn in one axis, maybe two safely.
