After those Yamato's words to Sakura "I can see it just by looking at you. You really..." I really started to believe Naruto and Sakura will be together. They literally were shipped the entire show.
23:53 slow zoom out on Yamato's face, you can't see his mouth while he's speaking and it's to save time/budget on animating the extra mouth flaps, this usually happens right before or right after a big fight/overly detailed scene. In this case it's also a way to make the speaker a bit more menacing, which is in character for Yamato.

Yamato's conversation with Naruto is quite an underrated moment. Before that, Naruto was acting like a brat throughout Ship, bringing out the Nine Tails at the slightest provocation. Naruto needed to understand that Nine Tails was not HIS power, at least not as long as he was not in full control of it. Frankly, both Jiraiya and Kakashi should have talked to him about this before this!
Someone might have said this already, but please don't skip the Kakashi anbu arc. It's a far later set of episodes, but that's why I'm mentioning it now. It's technically filler, but it gives more context to the anime's continuity, and you seem like you'd like it given everything I've seen of your reactions. The arc gives context to and is about Kakashi's childhood and young adulthood, and his connection to Yamato, among many other characters I won't spoil and their connections and relationships to each other.

Naruto wasnt using the Fox in the battle with Orochimaru, he was letting it take over, it's different from when he was getting some of the Nine Tails' Chakra. so he never hit Sakura, the Fox did.
