You said makeup is your "thing" but I hope you could make more hair tutorials since it's hard to find ballroom self made hair tutorials on youtube and you made it look so simple yet so beautiful and professional.
Rebeca Machado Thank you so much! 😁🤩 Yes I will try to make more hairstyle tutorials in the future! ❤️
My daughter and I have just started dancing. The hair and makeup is a whole new world to me and I've found it quite daunting. Your tutorials are so easy to follow and have made this side of dancing more fun than I thought it would be. Thanks ❤
Love this!!! I was looking for this because it was the same hairstyle I got someone to do for me at Blackpool and would love to know how it is done so thank you for doing this!!
8"04 "definitely not perfect" literally the smoothest ponytail ever
What a great idea to attach the net to the hair before putting the bun into it. I always find it tricky to get the net over my hair so I shall try this. Thank you
I love your hair sooo much! It’s beautiful ❤❤
Fabulous. The most helpful tutorial I have found. Much appreciated!

You are so talented!!! And I can clearly understand your tutorial 🥰
Linda Mu wow thank you so much! 🙏💕 I’m super happy you enjoyed watching my video! 😁
(as a former dancer with damaged hair) GIRLS PLEASE, make sure that you use gels and sprays that do not have any alcohol in them, and use grippy hair elastics rather than rubber bands, its far less damaging. One tip is to always do a deep conditioning or smoothing treatment beforehand, so you hair is already quite smooth and frizz-free to begin with. Trust me, I have curly, frizzy damaged hair, and sometimes literal aloe-vera gel does the job. You do not need to drench your hair in so much product unless you hair is super heavy or you will be dancing something really fast and rigid. Hope this helps)
woooow!!
You are very hard on yourself. I am a cosmetologist and my kids ballroom dance. My Mom start competing recently too. Everything they teach you at cosmetology school is wrong for ballroom styles. I have had to learn so many new different things. This tutorial is wonderful! Easy to follow and makes perfect sense. Make up is the same thing, I’m basically just as new as anyone else, Ballroom vs real life hair/make u is so different! You’re doing a great job, keep going. I’m subscribing 👍🏼
Thanks for your help!
Hi Rickie.... I am following your hair style for my daughter performance dance.....then she get 3 and 1 St in silabus dance Chaca and Jive 🤭
Thank you for the tutorial 😘
Your nails (3:02) are as fabulous as your hair. I love your thorough step-by-step explanations, Rickie.
Wow thank you so much!!😍🩷🫶🏻😇
That's amazing! Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome! Hope it can help! 🙏❤️
@@rickiet.beauty yep, I'll definately try it out for my daughter's next competition 🤗🙏
Hi ! I really like ur videos👑👑
Love this!!! Could you try a high bun for next time??
Florencia Santa Maria hello! I’m so happy you enjoyed this video 💖 Yes it’s possible that I can make a high bun tutorial in the future 😁
This was honestly so helpful thank you so much. I like my hair very sleek and shiny cuz I’m ocd
Awesome tutorial! You are explaining it very well! Thank you!
P.S. watched it again a year later, so helpful! The only suggestion I would give is to put camera from the side of the mirror so that we see how you handle the twisting better.
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I've always struggled with getting a very clean roll. Your tips really helped with that!
How long does it take you to do the full hairstyle in real-time?
Super glad you enjoyed my tutorial ☺️ Usually it would take me between 1 + 2 hours! I could definitely do it faster, but I make sure to take all the time I need on competition days to make sure it comes out super clean and well done 😁👍
can you make more hairstyle videos?? thank you!
Hello, please can you tell me the flat iron you used? Please reply Thank you.
Woow estoy impresionada de la cantidad de spray que usas para tu lindo peinado, espero que sea para toda la semana saludos cordiales desde veracruz puerto mexico🙋♀️🤍✨
😍
How long did it take to wash the hairspray out of your hair?
I just tried your gel wave ponytail tutorial and it was amazing! I’m on to this one next, but I have one question. When you use the dryer do you use it on a hot or cold setting? Not sure if it makes much difference but I wanted to know! :)
Hi! I’m so glad you liked my tutorials!! 😊❤️ I just kept my hair dryer on the normal setting. I don’t like it too hot because I feel like it can burn me. If it’s hot air I keep it further from my hair, and if I need to dry something very close to my hair I will switch between cool and hot air ✨ hope this helps!!💖
Very useful tutorial, thank you! Please advice do you wash your hair before the hairstyling?
I try not to wash my hair the morning that I style it for the competition. When it’s very clean, I find my hair is very slippery and hard to grip with my hands. I usually will wash my hair the day before I compete (at least 24hrs before I need to style it). Unless I’m paying for a hairstyle appointment with professional stylists and they ask me to come with fresh, clean hair, I like it just a little bit dirty for styling 😁✨ I’m glad you found my video helpful! ❤️
What is the name of the device you use so that it is the opposite of smooth? Is it sold in Spain?
Can I use this hairstyle for latino dance ?
can you use a normal hair straightener or do you have to pay attention to something?
May I know where can buy the hair band ? Thanks
Great video, what brand of conditioner do you use? Your hair is like liquid glass ❤️
Thank you so much!!! I just use any old regular conditioner from the grocery store (like tres semme or Pantene, even though I know people say it’s bad for your hair!😳🫣) I think my hair is just pretty healthy from never dying or treating it with anything 😁
What is the straightener looking hair tool that you used to get your front strands with that texture? Thank you!
Livbeautifully Hello! The tool I used is called a crimper 😁 Mine is by the brand ‘Gold N Hot’ and I got it off of Amazon!
@@rickiet.beauty is it necessary to use a crisper or can you do it without
I wonder how long it takes to wash all that out!
What did you use to stick the crystals on your head?☺️
olga miranda There’s many different types of glue you can use, but I always prefer to use Elmers School Glue! Keep the stones on all day and it is water soluble so the glue washes right out of my hair in the shower!
Thanks!❤️
Do you straighten your hair before all of this?
Hi there! I have naturally straight hair, so before I do competition hairstyle, I just brush it out and it’s already straight ☺️
What product do you use to tan yourself for competition?
Niki _nn since I dance only standard now, I don’t like to tan as dark as I used to for Latin. But for Latin I would do 1 layer of Pro Tan (the night before I dance) and then use 1 layer of Starbody or Aery Jo tanner a few hours before I compete in Latin. (The only difference between them is Arey Jo has sparkles in it and Starbody is a matte tanner). Now since I only dance standard, I only do 1 layer of Pro tan the night before my dancing and that’s it! 😁

Could you explain how you put correctly the hairnet? :(
Your work is faultlees and gorgeous

Why are you speaking in Vocal Fry? You are damaging your vocal cords!
I did not benefit from the video because it is not clear how to do the braid
