    Hi.
Is it necessary to keep the computer on so that all this works?
and another question: is it better to install Pfsense on a virtual machine? I see that all the tutorials do it in these machines. Thank you.

Hello! I don't know if this is possible, but you can try to disable concurrent sessions.

    Hi,
Is it possible to configure vouchers in captive portal of pfsense so that once a user, mid way through having access to their voucher signs out, their voucher timer also stops until such time that they sign in again, then use the rest of the timing on the voucher.

Can you make a video how to shorten the voucher character, maybe around 6-7. Please, thanks in advance.

There is an option named # Roll bits. Default value is 16 i believe..Just shorten it to maybe 6 to 8..I hope that helps

I have the same "problem" i want to have like 4 to 6 characters long voucher codes, and I tried different things (e.g. # Roll bits) down and up and it didn't worked. :(
How did you solve "the problem"?

I've set up a captive portal with vouchers on pfSense everything works except that the captive portal does not ask for the voucher code from all the smartphones. Has anyone else had this problems and fixed it?

can you tell me how to set up captive portal to work on different virtual lan network

The same applies to a VLAN interface like you are talking about. Just create a vlan and give it a proper vlan tag and setup a DHCP server on that vlan like the guy describes in the video. then just follow the rest of the video.
