- DK Grass (DKG) is a Mario Kart DS Beta track and the unmodified version of the track doesn´t have working collisions for the grass, that’s why I can drive through it. In addition, the respawns don´t work what is the reason that the game freezes when you fall down.

Apart from Staff Roll, this was the oldest standing MKDS WR set on April 29th, 2009. As I saw the video from Zach again lately, I decided that the run doesn´t deserve to still be a WR in 2022. While grinding I found the new SC that saves quite some time on lap 1 and 2. I can´t jump over to the other site immediately, because I have to get the last key checkpoint which is located at the beginning of this big 180 turn. Thats why I have to turn around, but it still saves a decent amount of time if done right. On lap 3 the SC didn´t work out for me... the angle for the final jump is so bad that I think the normal way is faster there but maybe there is a way to make it work.

Yo, how do you play the beta courses in time trials ?
You need a special rom for that where the beta tracks are ported to the slots of the „normal“ tracks. I think there are also some AR codes that enables you to play some of the beta tracks iirc.

Ich habe das Problem gelöst, meine Lösung war: AR Codes die es mir ermöglicht haben die Beta-Tracks wiederzustellen;)
