I become a fan after watching all your Chaseing Cardboard shows. Tried eBay last year I got lost. Asked around still was lost. Seen this video this am. Now I am on the hunt for 150 items. Be intouch. Thanks again
Great video and nice timing as my ebay store has become stagnant recently. Looking forward to using the scheduling and advice to move some more cardboard!
Some interesting thoughts my friend. We have been selling on ebay and other platforms since 1997. There are always tweaks to be made to get the inventory moving from time to time. Heck even debating about doing a what not auction. Thing we miss mostly about reselling is the on online community that use to be so prevelant, so to try and get back to old skool, developers are producing our new reselling platform right now. Hopefully be launching late summer. Just wanted to give a hats off to your content from a mom and pop reselling team!
I’ve been selling for over 15 yrs on eBay, and although it’s just a “side hustle” for me, I’d sure like to figure out how to make more than the occasional sale. I appreciate all the tips Ty, and definitely gotta try them.
@@CHASINGTYWILSON The first auction ends tonight! So far in the last week my store traffic went from a week of zeros to 14 people in just the first 4 days! Thank you!
I have been buying collections on the spot for the last few years. I’m 45 and have been a collector since 1986 after buying my first packs of 1986 Topps Baseball. Prior to moving to Az in 2013 my entire collection was stolen from my house in Michigan…. Cards ranging from 1950’s to 2012. Mainly football, baseball and basketball. Cards passed down from my dad and was an estimated 20K collection… needless to say I was pissed and devastated. Now I have the itch and have been stocking up and not even going through all my pick ups yet. I’m set up as a WhatNot seller but haven’t started selling yet.
Well I buy anything so some things like a dirty star wars toy or something would take a lot longer than digital camera on something but on average could probably clean, photo, list and store 50 maybe in 8 hr day?
I don’t have 150 items tho :( do I have to wait for the 150? Or can I start with lower numbers. Like 30 or 40 but still keep looking for more items to keep that momentum?
I wouldn’t overthink the number of items, the most important thing is to figure out what you have and how you can divide that in to a 10-30day stretch. get the same number of items up every single day for the entire period. it’s the consistency that will start really working in your favor.
Excellent process and steps Ty. Very actionable and relatable. Keep them up!
Thanks James!

That’s awesome Drew, be sure to reach out if you have any questions that I can help with
Doing this steps: you don’t talk about promoting listings.
I’m assuming we don’t need to promote those listing. Right?
Loved the Auction advice on 21 days - thank you!
You got it!!!
This may be the most helpful eBay video I’ve seen. Great job!!
Wow! So glad to hear that Trevor! Let me know if there are other questions I can answer...
Thanks Ty! This is exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate you!
Heck yeah Aaron! Thanks for stopping in.... what else are you struggling with on the eBay side?

@@CHASINGTYWILSON thank you will do. I do have a question: the auction listings is it also 5 items per day? Or 1 listing (auction) a day?
@@YesMerAguilar34 if you have the inventory, go 5 a day

There he is!
Is it only the auction items that are a scheduled time

Why not a 10 day auction?
We gotta work on your rap skills. ;-)
Touche!
8 hrs to list 150 items?! Miracle worker man or have a lot of easy items like video games
How long does it take you?
