      Maybe lactose if you're lactose intolerant. And casein/whey if you get inflammatory response to it (such as acne).
      But keep in mind that fermented dairy such as natural yogurt and kefir have (almost) zero lactose since it was used up in the fermentation process.
      And depending on the animal (cow, goat, sheep, camel etc), the composition of milk is also very different.

      Yeah, unfortunately, doctors who mention "leaky gut syndrome" and claim it as a supposed issue seem iffy to me (there is not substantial research to A. say that it is a concerning issue or B. that it even exists--most practitioners and physicians consider it a myth). Especially those who claim gluten is not good for those who aren't intolerant or have celiac disease when the research overall claims the exact opposite. While there are a host of problems that can affect those with gluten intolerance or celiac when they continue to consume gluten products, the opposite is true for those not suffering. I really like his videos, but this one was a bit sketchy considering the claims he made towards the end that don't reflect the evidence....

There are problems with diets that unfortunately lead to serious deficiency diseases. When sugar, dairy casein, milk sugar or gluten are deprived, along with other important vitamins, minerals and trace elements, proteins, collagen. There are foods that contain the undesirable substances, but also contain many other things that our body needs, but by dieting we deprive ourselves of these too. That's when it comes to making up the shortfall with dietary supplements. When the waiter at the restaurant asks me what kind of food I'd like to order, I usually say, "Guilt-free. *I feel convicted after watching Dr Youn* + *Thryve talk about gut health that I literally dropped my cheese puff* ! In my defense I thought I was eating a little healthier because the cheese puffs are the air popped kind 😩

    Dear Doctor Youn;
    I don’t like the kefir but my aunt says it’s the best thing she adopted her diet. Her energy level is exploding and she says all the muscle& joint pain she’s long been dealing with drastically decreased. I wish i could consume kefir too, but avoiding dairy in general. It makes me feel so much bloated and drains my energy.

    Thank you so much for reminding me.

      @@Pretear521 They are savoury and sour, but much more delicate than kimchi. They are not spicy. They are so tasty and easy on a palette, that we often drink a glass for juice for hangover. Watch out for Eco or Bio, because nowadays the producers pasteurise the mass production fermented cucumbers. PS. in Polish they're called ogorki kiszone :-)

Is this true? Are we better off just sticking with blue light?
