- So we got a call for a Jeep Wrangler that was stuck on the rim trail at Sand Hollow sand dunes.
The dunes were steep and sharp that day, and we had some trouble traversing them.
We finally made it through and got on the right trail to the wrangler.
Once located, it was a simple job to get them back on the trail and on their way.

I thought he meant "stand on the bumper" too. Love the enthusiasm with wich those guys put those unclear instructions into practice so quickly.
Street tires, not aired down = job security for Matt. 😁
Thats what you get today from Jeep. A pavement only toy.
Even with aired down those tires looked best for 100% highway.
Russ G the tire tread really does not matter much. Air down to 6-8 psi for sand. You want to float on the sand. Once you start spinning your tires stop. All you will do is dig yourself onto your frame.
Google For other tips for driving in sand.
Google pismo beach. You’ll see Motorhomes pulling trailers on beach sand. Not all on the hard pack either. Also plenty of Motorhomes and big 4x4 trucks stuck in the sand cause they didn’t air down.

I really enjoy these extended driving clips of the recoveries. The conversation is the best. The journey is often greater than the destination.
I love how Randy ALWAYS talks like he's either smiling and or laughing. You can hear it in his voice. It always makes me smile, big time!!!

yeah he seems like the kind of guys I like hanging out with , havin fun most of the time even when things go wrong they find the humor in it. I have a buddie like that and he is my favorite person to go out on adventures with.

Matt is the smartest guy in the business. He gets em unstuck and then sends em down the wrong trail to get them stuck again. Double recovery equals double pay.

I think we all know that if Matt sent someone down the wrong trail and they got stuck he would recover them for free.

Stuck is when you can't get yourself moving again with the tools you have available, be that muscles to leverage or brains to think.

even with them if they would have aired down to 10psi they likey could have worked thier way out of there alone, would have probably still gotten stuck though because of the dunes.

Recently subscribed to your channel and I have to say it has become my favorite YT channel as of late! Seriously, Discovery or Outdoor Channel should have a reality show with you guys! The Utah scenery is awesome looking and Matt and crew are already comfortable on camera! Until then, I will just have to wait for the next vid with Matt saying “We got a call...” Keep up the great work!

Randy, thanks for filling in for Ed’s weather report. Gotta say that in spite of the temperature being 104+, this was one of the prettiest days I’ve seen in Matt’s videos. That sky was intensely blue. Gorgeous!

I have 33" tires on my Jeep and I wouldn't dream of going out in the sand dunes without a winch and my lancor.
Randy cracks me up with his goofiness. His laugh is infectious yet completely goofy sounding. I always enjoy the videos due just to the silliness of yalls bantering.

every sunday after church we would head out and see where trails would take us , NOW they are probably roads, i still remember the bad ones ,after 40 years ,WE sure had lots of fun out on the sand dunes pulling a car hood around with someone on it , and no one got hurt to bad , great times
