Majestic! For some 42 years due to a crippling accident I could not play guitar anymore but I love to watch and listen to your presentations.
A hard fate, great to hear you still enjoy guitar music, anyway!
Greetz from Bergheim, GER
ive been wanting to learn this classic django tune for too long!!! thx so much!!!
Sven, you are a special musician and an amazing teacher. No wonder why Joscho Stephan picked you up to play with him
Thanks man!
This is really awesome. Stuff like this is my favorite side of jazz guitar youtube
Thanks a lot! Its a greatest lesson with Nuages! I spend some time with this and catch so many great ideas! You are the best! Merci from Russia!
Great Video Sven! Have you ever considered to play it like the actual Django Reinhardt? I only ask as I suffer from Dupuytren's (Viking's) disease and have the same finger restraints as he did. Thanks again for your expertise and direction.
A very very big ''thank you'' for that beautiful interprétation. I worked on it for the last 3-4 months and I think I have done it good. I have been influenced buy most of you interpretation but I changed a couple of things. Sometimes because I found another nice way to play some parts and sometimes because I was'nt able to play what you proposed. So I ''simplified''. Once again Thank you very much for your work !
Great lesson, Sven! Its 16 little minutes are packed full of good tips for this beautiful tune and for playing chord melodies in general. Thank you for your time and inspiration!
Thank you Sven, lots of fine suggestions and fun ideas, and thanks for the encouragement.
Lovely! Thanks Sven for your careful and thorough tutorial, it's appreciated.
The tone of your May guitar is wonderful. The notes bloom nicely. Nice instrument.
Great insight and incredibly valuable lesson 👍
Really great job Sven...ripped it all. :) Thanks for posting this!
Wonderful video and explanation
Just got into gypsy jazz via a good friend. You are a mine of information and techniques. Hope to make it to Fontainebleau this year to expand the experience.
That was a great lesson. I learnt so much. Thanks a lot 👍🍷
Thank you so much Sven! love and greetings from mexico!
Grazie infinite ! spiegazione fantastica ! virtuosismi da grande musicista ! complimenti
One of your best videos yet!!!! Thank you!
Very welcome, Steve!
Magical as always.
Sven, thanks for the great lessons!
Can you a video on All the things you are as you do on the video but complete?? Great work and teaching!
I didn’t create the one of all the things, maybe there is a sheet on the internet, I mean, I could teach it anyway😅
Let’s see
@@SvenJungbeck that would be wonderfull, i loved the way it sounded, i would like to learn it in that kind of arrangment
Thank you for making these videos they are really helpful and created insightfully thx to you. One thing i ask for is that can you show ways to cover 2 frets with one finger like you do in those 7th chords. I watched plenty of your videos but i cant seem to figure it out.
Hi, Sven. What a great lesson. Lots of new rifs and approaches to play beautiful music. I just wonder if you have final tabs of this melody the way you play it?
Very nice Sven!. Again a very good lessen! You are a great guitarplayer😉
Thanks Guido. 👌🎸
Aww this chords voicing makes me crazy ♥️
Very helpful lesson ✥ Thanks 🙏🏼
Thanks for your help, Sven
Thanks Sven! Lots of re-usable ideas and harmonic "tricks" here. Very generous! I guess the A in the bass-line going to Eb9 could be seen as a tri tone sub?
Not really, just a passing note, even though it is a Tritone but this is not its meaning here, I think.
Beautiful thank you
super Sven
merci beaucoup
Thanks for your ideas
Good job Sven...
Amazing
Your tone is killer!
Tres sympathique d’expliquer ta version
Great thankyou
I think you're a great player!
Nice, nice, very very nice.

Brilliant !! Another really helpful video. I was going to ask what kind of guitar you were playing but I see you've named it in the description. Really nice, very dry sound 👍🏻
I see a couple of you know what a May guitar is. I tried googling them in several different ways and all I can find are Brian May electrics. Can any of you folks share a link? Thanks.
@@wherewoodbinetwines I couldn't find them either, all I got was the Brian May electrics as well.
@@crawfordmilne1963 So where are the folks who know of them? Come on out of hiding! 😄

@@SvenJungbeck Thanks, still hadn't managed to find them.
I wish I could read chords but I try anyway. Thank you for the upload
I copy the sound guided by the hand shape, then I draw the chord on paper, because I know so little about music haha
@@tablon8539honestly i never know which one is the fundamental... I know you have to take into account the context of the chord too but damn I'm so lost.

You are one of the top three gypsy jazz teachers on the Internet along with Yaakov Hoter and Robin Nolan … I would definitely love to purchase your backing track package but can’t find a link for this. Please let me know how I can do this
