Well, the problem is it is clever. Really, I am not knocking the general public, but the best way to gain mainstream appeal is to not have your audience think about it too much. Unfortunately there is even a portion of intelligent people who just rather not channel that thought to the music they listen to.
i think its about no matter how many times your knocked down, just get up and keep going (however i'm scottish so maybe we have a different take on things???)
