It's rare you see a song this cheerful start with the band falling off a building.
This song is one of the most underrated songs ever written.
Its amazing how they continued playing after suffering those injuries, they must have really hurt.
I feel this song so heavily now... I miss him so much. And it hits me metaphorically just like they portrayed in the vid. wow... He loved this song. RIP til I get there honey. Save me a spot.
I am sorry for your loss. Life has dealt some blows to me and my wife in the last four years ( two bereavements within three weeks of our closest relatives in June 2020), and some other issues beyond our control. I have always been a fan of a wide variety of music ( I am 52) but The Proclaimers have not been on my radar per se until recently. Music moves me so much but rarely to tears but theirs resonates with me so much because of the power of the melodies and the lyrics. An amazing band. I hope you find some measure of solace in the wonderful music of The Proclaimers as we must too in our memories of those we have lost.
These two lads should be appreciated much more than they are.they won't be here for ever...Absolute magic
Damn. Even their sad songs make me happy. I’d love to meet these guys one day. They seem like a whole lotta fun.
This is fantastic video, fantastic song sung by two of the most underrated singer, songwriters of all time, mark my words these guys will be, are legends.
Saw them Thursday night un Sheffield. They did this song. Still brilliant.
Indeed. I am Portuguese and I just found out the brothers. Just amazing, I do love them. I can't stop playing this song. I am having such a good time. Thank you Proclaimers.
I'm thankful to live in a world where these guys are still putting out music and Todd in the Shadows is around to point me back to them.
The Proclaimers just have a sorta something... I like their moxie... they have this energy and give it their all and it's infectious
“There’s a touch upon my lips left by memories fingertips” ..........genius lyrics
These Guys are awesome. I have been playing their music since 1987, when I was 18. still they are the best and I continue to listen to them today.
I can't seem to get enough. I play their stuff to fall asleep at night
This is the best Proclaimers song I have ever heard. It had a good blend of Folk and Soul to my mind, with a Dexys Midnight Runners flavour.
Saw them in concert in Glasgow. Fantastic. Seriously underated. So love this song ❤️
The Proclaimers are unkillable! Brilliant!
My new favorite video! And growing to be my new favorite band as well.
♪ *_I STILL HEAR HER VOICE WHEN THERE'S NO SOUND_* ♪

*I could say this is the best song intro ever made.*
Adolfo Vazquez And then after the great intro you got yourself taken aback to hear that loud shout: There's a touch..! Man, that's real original. That's why I love it so much.
Great duo so underrated some great songs and also their hibees so even better 🇳🇬

One of my high up there favourite songs
This guys are geniuses!!!
Such a great song...why ain't there more views?
Is it just me, or did it seem like they put alot of time, effort and money into making this music video, and it only gets 11k views? I thought it was pretty good, and iv always loved the Proclaimers. Are they just so old fashioned and forgotten now or what?
Just found this after hearing some of their music on an alternative radio station. This is a great song and glad I found them. Really like their harmony on every word.
The Proclaimers are mostly popular in Scotland and since there's a good few places in Scotland where Internet access isn't great mainly because it's Westminster's job to upgrade these services it does hurt their popularity to some extent as a lot of people don't get to see their videos as much as they would like to.
I'm glad to hear you guys are ok.
Video shot in my hometown of Kitchener Ontario Canada
los tatos me encanta Suecia y sus canciones estos hermanitos son geniales
Hilarious video! Way to go Craig and Charlie....
Filmed in Kitchener Ontario Canada!!! Like.
This would have won us the Eurovision Song Contest. It has a similar tune to Let's get married.
Jambo till I die but these guys are brilliant!
haven't heard it yet and already know it is good
Love the snow.. i want some SNOW! :)
This is a brilliant song and the video is just the best. We cant stop laughing and we play it over and over again. The Proclaimers are so fantastically talented and unique. Brilliant brilliant. Please tour the south of UK asap.
This Song is so Good it Hurts.
Great Video, It still makes me laugh and stamp ma feet.
Brilliantly funny vid !
There's a touch upon my lips
Left by memory's fingertips
I still hear her voice
When there's no sound
There's a touch upon my skin
Left when she went back to him
All the rest has gone
She's not around
When I saw her first
It was lust my friend
Thought it would burn
Then it would end
But I lost my old philosophy
Now I believed in love
Well the months went by and my love grew strong
Thought she felt the same but I was wrong
She held my old philosophy
Now I'm destroyed by love
There's a touch, [etc...]
Well I still believed that I would win
Cos I was a better man than him
She held the new philosophy
Now she believed in love
But the love she felt was not for me
Said she would have to set me free
Now I know there's no philosophy
That can't be destroyed by love
There's a touch, [etc...]
"Helicopter Crash at the Pajama Factory" would be a great album title. It's yours if you want it, guys.
i like it.
You'd have to be made of stone not to tap a foot at the Proclaimers!
Good music :d
I due cantanti si assomigliano in modo impressionante !! Ottimo brano!
Just a normal day in Scotland
How do the proclaimers only have this much subs they should have way more
God I love this band. They’re my favourite band along with The Manic Street Preachers.
Que extraño, no se que significa y aun así me encanta esta canción.
Wish you were here...
Despite finishing just 26 hours ago... can't wait for they're return to Weston.
These guys have the fucking best video clips
I myself love the proclaimed and the one song they are known 4 (I'm gonna be) is now forgotten there should be some way that they can be taken back 2 fame
The pop industry sucks if it cant recognise this class
still great in 2022
Why didn't this song do well in the states?
Fantastic song - clip is very hard to watch though!
Living in Kitchener just be like this sometimes.
Intro reminds me of "here comes the sun"
Todd in the Shadows sent me here, and I'm very happy about it,
Same
@@dan182v Being Scottish brought me here
Ha! I knew of these guys long before Todd, but I was really happy when he did a video on them.
Me too. This has become my favorite song of theirs. I love just how happy the song sounds despite how sad the lyrics actually are. In some respects, I think the video kinda visualizes that pretty well.
@Cian Abroad try "it's over and done with" That's up high in my top ten proclaimers. Definitely worth a listen to if you no heard it.
