Fun fact: 8BitDo products are inspired from Nintendo (themed controllers, etc) and from that alone you know where the 'Do' comes from. They used to introduce their products and pronounce it 8Bit-d'oh, only after a while they changed the pronunciation to 8Bit-doo and i guess they did it to prevent unwanted lawsuit just like Palworld🤫
That makes so much sense now. It explains why even the 8bitdo staff change their minds about the pronunciations. It always come back to nintendos aggressive copyright claims
Hall effect joysticks and triggers controller for 35$ is crazy, 25$ if u gi wired version damnn Without speaking about other features in the video and their amazing ultimate software to map any butter or eveb add macro
I got this controller because of the black myth wukong collab but i am more than satisfied with it, the features that this controller has for a little more than half the cost of a regular console controller is insane, I also felt the difference when using the 1000Hz wireless mode compared to the bluetooth of regular controllers
I have the regular 8bitdo Ultimate Wireless controller which is their premium option with back paddles, app support, and a charging dock. Not sure if I should get this one if it's gonna be a downgrade from that one, but I really like the Black Myth aesthetic. Wish they made one for the more expensive option.
they're almost identical only difference is the back button have been moved to shoulder button which is what I perfer abd it also doesn't support the switch unless you use a adapter and no gyro support either
1000hz pulling rate...Hall joysticks AND triggers...anti-friction rings...dongle included...and it doesnt look like a cheeseball madcatz controller (it looks fantastic!)...for 35 FREAKING DOLLARS!!! This is seriously impressive
i dont like souls- like games too but everyone they said that black myth wukong is easier game than elder ring so i tried ,its hard but its still fun fighting the bosses and need to change ur gameplay or set skill to use in order to counter every bosses ,bcoz every boss got unique attack and defensive style , and the move set of sun wukong is much faster than dark souls games.. i used to try blood bourne ,when i cannot defeat the very first enemy the werewolf ,i stop the game and trade it for another game 😅
They add the buttons on top, but leave out the ones on the back. - Stupid. - This way there's still no gamepad that rivals the Razer Wolverine. Well, depending on the version. There are some pros and cons about the differences between the first and second versions, so overall the V2 is probably an improvement (I have the V1). - The thing is that they all have the back-buttons, the second even 4, though in a different configuration from the first, which I'm not sure is as nice as the first that I use for most games. - One drawback is the fact that I believe they're both wired, even the second one, which... isn't a huge issue if you just sit at a desk with the computer there, but it might be if you want to sit much farther away (even though you could use an extension-cable, it's just not the convenience we're used to these days). But it was probably done for the certainty of the connection and response, as these are very much made for competitive (or "e-sports") gaming. - However, I did just find out that there's a V3 now, which I think has some improvements, like how they put back the rear buttons where they were on the first, but 4 this time, and there's a wireless version as well. I'm not a huge fan of Razer, even though I use two products by them, some of their stuff just has no match, even if they didn't necessarily come up with the ideas. - And yea, they're way overpriced most of the time. - They're no 8BitDo-pricetags, that's for sure. - I love 8BitDo-stuff as well, but sometimes they... just miss. Not saying that this one is terrible or anything.
Hopefully the 8bitdo ultimate 2c comes to Amazon because I’m not trying to get the premium ultimate. The regular c is great too. I mostly play in handheld mode but sometimes I play with the kickstand
Hay brother ... Would i go for this base variant ... I am playing mostly Football game.... Is this best controller in this budget for me ??? Waiting for your reply....
@@128KB thats honestly not a good answer as a reviewer that's exactly why I decided to do my own deep research of the controller and found some Cons -No Switch and GYRO Support -1000hz is entirely true or not consistent -not the best to use for FPS shooters like APEX LEGENDS or Call of Duty -Battery life is okay but not great in conclusion The controller is very decent enough for the price but not entirely good for competitive games. Basic 2D, 3D and fighting games works very well with the controller but FPS shooters not so much it but still very usable

No sorry it doesn't have Gyro sadly and it doesn't support switch out of the box you need to use an Adapter that's my only issue with this controller it's missing things I would really want it only has half but for the price I can't complain because it's better than most controllers
@@itzdcx thanks for the reply brother. If it supports gyro that should be a great deal but ofcourse in that price range it's a good controller. Now I'm looking for Gamesir Cyclone.
