i've watched this 5 or 6 times since 2010 this match is the gaming equivalent of shawshank redemption on basic cable you're not expecting to watch it but you don't switch channels once it's on
The "broken" pathfinding of broodwar leads to some of the largest scale map-wide encounters of any rts. Infinitely more fun to watch than a big ball of units clumped together just playing tug of war like in SC2. Granted there are still some really high level micro plays in starcraft 2, but it is not nearly as impressive or fun to watch as these prolonged engagements with tons of map control and lock downs, mixed with zerg drops and swarms to close the distance, all the while there are deep strikes going after the workers.

You literally can only kill it when it's most vulnerable like when it's moving or the player is distracted. Seriously, Siege Tanks literally cannot be attacked into. You will always lose more then the Terran. Science Vessels can guarantee a kill on any spellcaster. Spider Mines are insanely important to deal with but will always cost you something to deal with them, whether it be your time and attention or units. Goliaths are the strongest AA unit in the game and aren't too bad against ground targets either. Not to mention this map is EXTREMELY Terran favored. Really tiny chokes all over the place, tons of ramps, really easy positions to defend with mech, extremely small amounts of air space which makes it a lot harder for Zerg to muta harass or Protoss to do surprise recalls.

I never seen a pro player having a supply surplass for more than 1 second and if you had supply surplass as zerg you doing something wrong and by the time he reaches late game it was too late.... Flash had too many tanks... Casted dark swarm wrong and I never seen him use plague once

He won the 2005 SKY Proleague with a 5-0 record, he didn't do well in individual leagues but did great in proleague, without Rainbow reavers wouldn't be used as much :P. He standarised it's usage, also grrrr was great for his time but he pales in comparisment to all the other players listed.

Korean commentators usually say nothing about something going on right now, but usually what will gonna happen for certain attack. so, you might not be able to understand without watching it, but I think that's better.

Are guardians really that bad against goliaths? I get that irradiate is really lethal against them but after Jaedong scourged those science vessels, why didn't he pump any out? Could he have screened the goliaths with overlord cracklings while attacking with guardians?
I noticed Jaedong has no carapace upgrade for his ground units! Thats a big ouch for Hydras versus siege tanks and made a big difference in the middle battle

150 gas 100 minerals for guardian i thought, + 100 gas and 100 minerals for mutalisks. goliaths are 145 minerals and ca. 40 gas i thought so meh i guess youre right, either way its funny to see these matches
@Lubie225 3 drones are easy to replace, especially since the zerg can build three of them and a time. Also, 4 vultures is 300 minerals, not really that good of an attack.
@Ur0pinionDoesntCount well to be fair zergs have complete map control for the first half of the game. First zerglings then muta. Successful Zerg plays come when a Zerg player can pop out defilers before Terrans can amass enough force to move out.
