This car has changed loads now Engine blew about 6 months ago so had it fully forged, r26.r clutch kit, PMS Exhaust, 250 turbo, airtec intercooler 630cc injectors and meg 265 front brakes added. Now running 304bhp. I'm still loving the car despite spending so much on it.

Ive got a LY R26 remapped to around 263 bhp - just great cars! Probably the best value for money performance car there is..

Bought a 2008 one last weekend, completely standard. The only mods I will consider doing is exhaust and blow off/turbo plate. Feels a tad too quiet as standard in the drivers seat.
Take out the rear parcel shelf and drop the rear seats :)

Nice video 👌 I had a remapped 225 years back but it was plagued with to many issue's so had to pass it on, but I did enjoy it in my short ownership.

Thanks mate. I have never been fortunate enough to drive the other two, but can almost guarantee the R26 has the superior chassis.
Have been tempted by the Focus ST before because of its 5 pot engine. Way more scope for modifications!

Sounds nice! I have another video going live this weekend featuring an R26 which is 330bhp. Goes like a rocket and handles the power brilliantly.

The rear is the reason I bought the car over the clio rs.
I had an R26 and loved the style, definitely a Marmite car. Had to get rid of it when family came along 😪 but as soon as they were a bit older I bought a 250 cup and still have it. Renaultsport just do great drivers cars full stop.👍
